Naranja has white diabigs in stock now too:
http://www.naranja.co.jp/juggling/index.html

They are a bit more expensive... but might be roughly the same price if you get them without sticks. I can't quite make the translation.

oh sweet! i might have to pick a couple of these up sometime...

anywho, the white ones are the cheaper ones. they are in the 3780 yen group (along with blue red etc) as opposed to the GID ones, etc, in the 4095 group.

edit: oops, those prices are for the "set" which im guessing includes sticks. for just the diabolo, it's 3600 for white, etc, and it's 3900 for GID, etc.

ok guys, yoho got back to me.

Hi Scooby,

Thanks for the email. One of the great and often unrealized advantages
of moving production to China is the access to new materials and
processes that allow affordable innovation.

Our new hand sticks (for the standard model at this stage) use
fiberglass rods. A bit of extra flex and a nice feel soft foam grip
handle. Great for grinds but otherwise its just a hand stick.

Re light diabolo: Yes we are asked all the time lately. We have many
projects in the pipeline and this one is up for manufacture later next
year. We have a new product out early next year that is an absolute
killer. Just so cool.

Stay tuned............

u can use google translate it has an ok japanese to english option
but you might need to enable japanese text if you havent done that already

also if you look the urls are always in english so you can navigate the page that way(look at the bottom of the browser as you put your mouse over each ink)

Gave them ur message. Explained what you wanted, and gave them your mail. Seems like theres some people there who is pretty good at english, so shouldnt be any problems. Also, they said they would make an english ordering page soon too. U'll problably hear from them soon :)

Bought some white carbon sticks while i was there. Really cool! Seems it's a special order from Henrys, so only Narhanja sells them.

Okey, bumpingtime...
I am seriously thinking about ordering from naranja within the next couple of days but I am a bit comfused about ordering and I don't want to make a mistake.
I am going to order full-white jumbos, that is white hub and cups.
But I am not sure what the ordering menu is suppose to say, and I am confused about "set" and "only substance"
I am refering from babelfish's website translation. Is this the correct way it should say when ordering:

Thanks in advance.

Am I wrong or does set mean with handstick and only substance without handsticks?
should be ok what you are doing although I still dont get how to change the hub color when ordering

OK, so we all know that Yoho Jumbos are the same thing as Diabigs, right? I believe the story goes that Yoho sold the mold to Diabig to make the same diabolo. But...

Every Yoho Jumbo I've tried wasn't balanced correctly, and I've been talking with Scooby and he's found the same thing. I find it hard to believe that all the Japanese would love Diabigs if they had the same balance problems. I also can't imagine that every Japanese diabolist searches through piles of diabolos to find the 3 that are perfectly balanced.

So, I'm wondering, could there be a difference in the quality of the manufacturing between Yoho Jumbos and and Diabigs? What are people's experience with these? If you have Diabigs or Yoho Jumbos, do you think that they are balanced or unbalanced?

Ie. I had given up on using my Yoho Jumbos because I could never get them to stay perfectly straight. Otherwise I love them. Is it worth looking at ordering from a Japanese store?

The 3 diabigs that Leo has that I used seemed to be balanced when I was using them.

I ordered my diabigs from the naranja website, and they are wellbalanced imo (could be that they are a little but I dont see any difference to finesse or circus if it comes to how they are balanced) , I dunno if the yoho jumbos are any different in balance, never tried one, but the diabigs I ordered from naranja are great
