Hello,

This is Ashish Agrawal from Techfest IIT Bombay India. Techfest, Asia’s Largest Science and Technological Festival, is the annual technical festival of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India. With a footfall of over 100,000 from 2300 colleges of India and 500 colleges abroad, Techfest has added many feathers to its illustrious cap besides being granted patronage by UNESCO in its endeavor to provide a platform to showcase the talents in the fields of science and technology.Techfest brings a platform for industries and people all across the globe to have a closer look to what has been achieved by sheer brilliance of great minds at work in their respective fields.(http://www.techfest.org/)

IIT Bombay, INDIA (http://www.iitb.ac.in/) is one of the premier institutes of science and technology. It is known for its path breaking researches and quality education all across the globe. 

On the behalf of Team Techfest and IIT Bombay, I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to present a unique show of yours to the audience and grace the pedestal of our festival.

With a vision of providing a platform where students, academia and corporates can appreciate the unique performances, we present Afternights (Techfest at Dark), which showcases entertainment at the end of an entire day's events. Each day at Techfest, thousands of people eagerly await sunset, when the spotlight shifts to the magnificent Convocation Hall which hosts some of the most captivating shows from around the world, enthralling the 5,000 strong audience beyond expectations.
In line with our aim of showcasing the best in technology and entertainment, the following are some of the performances we have had:

Luxy Boyz, a one-of-it’s kind human robot show in the world
Activ8-3d, 3-D holographic display from U.K
Feeding the Fish, which has also been a part of Athens Olympics Opening Ceremony
Laserman, a Laser manipulation and illusion, winner of the International Laser Display Associations Award
Pyromania, an acrobatics show with pyrotechnics performed by an Israel based group
Microsoft Surface, the most advanced multi touch product yet from Microsoft research
Tony Chapek, the famous illusionist from USA
Pa-Li-Tchi, fire Show and pyrotechnics from Czech Republic
Mark Nizer, winner of International Juggling Championship from USA

Techfest is a non-profit organization with all the performances completely non-ticketed. We do not charge the audience for any of the performances.

The seventeenth edition of Techfest is scheduled between 3rd-5th January 2014.We would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to you to perform in front of industries, corporates and the academia so as to provide a unique experience for a large audience that we receive from across the globe. It will be our utmost pleasure to have you at Techfest 2014.

Last year we had a media plan worth INR 24 million. The artists gracing the Techfest stage have on their hands an opportunity to explore the untapped South-Asian market.
