Workshop from and with Donald Grant (Berlin, Katakomben)
« on: October 13, 2005, 11:12:49 am »
There is a Workshop happening in Berlin.
The Workshop is from 14:00 til 18:30 on 28th November- 2nd December.
The cost is 180,-€ inclusive training in the Katakomben after the workshop.

About Donald.....Way back in 1992, Donald Grant wrote the first book on advanced diabolo techniques.  Thirteen years (and four more books) later, he's respected as one of the world's leading diabolists.  Not only does he perform with many world class shows, such as Cirque du Soleil and the Wintergarten, but is also a guest instructor at many top performance schools (Ecole Nationale de Cirque, Montreal; The Circus Space, London).  He probably knows more about diabolos than anyone really ought to.......

About the Course.....This course is suitable for anyone from good intermediate to expert.  The course is intended to expand your skill base, with techniques from classic Chinese to modern freestyle techniques, all with one diabolo.  It will also concentrate on trick combinations, creativity, improvisation, and the construction of routines, whether for fun or professional presentation.

Hostel accomodation is available above the school for 12,-€ per night.

Registration: workshops@jonglierkatakomben.de or Tel: +49(0)30 44036879.

Also....., Pierret Priam will be here from the 22nd-26th of May teaching two diabolo technique. It's the week running up to the Berlin juggling convention.

Come by anyway when your in Berlin.

All the best,

Alan

Alan forgot to say that Donald's workshop is only about 1 diabolo skills, and mine will be only about 2 diabolos skills and a bit of 3 (precise content coming soon).

Hey,

I'm sure I'm the only one on this board going to Donald's workshop in a few weeks (except Donald, of course) but I thought I'd make a topic about it anyway, to say what I thought of it, what I learnt, all that kind of thing.

See you later,
Luke
