Currently designing a diabolo
« on: December 14, 2013, 07:07:13 pm »
Hello all!
So most of you, probably don't know me very well.
So I guess I'll start with a slight intro. My name is wilson Ni
And I own a Yoyo co.
https://www.facebook.com/JekyllHydespins
(^Just in case you're interested!)

In any case I've been trying to design my own personal Diabolo and I just hit the wall!
I just realized I am addicted to the Taibolos axle/hub setup.
So, My little blip now is. Is there any place that sells the full axle setup of the Taibolo?
As in pretty much everything except the washers and cups!
If not, what would be the closest thing to use in it's place?

So far the shape is still a work in process
It's something completely different from the usual, rounded circle shape!
I'll be releasing pictures as soon as I am able to get the design in the way I want it to head!

-Wilson

Closest thing if you cant get  the taiabolo ones would probably be JC's axles? the Tiabolo hub profile kind of falls between his narrow and wide (the more popular version)

Sounds pretty good!
Would anyone happen to have a weight on the axle kit in it' entirety?
Looking at it on Oddballs it only says it makes the circus 25 grams lighter or 30g lighter

You might be best to get in touch with JC via his diabolonet.de site as he should be able to give you the numbers. (check out his thread in the vendor section as well)

edit: just went to his site. I didn't know he was doing kits for Fly's as well as Circus and Finesse
