AWESOME!!! It made me very happy to see this.
Sorry for my awful posts years ago. I was even more anal and un-self-aware than i am now.

the "beach music" is the new standard with diabolo videos, deal with it.

Awesome! Thanks Samuli and Joona and everyone who contributed videos. It's great to see so many new faces from around the world, and a some older familiar ones too. I obviously missed the point when sticks started flying in all planes at once. I'm amazed at the rate that the diabolo world has continued to progress since I've mostly stepped away for a bit. Hard to believe the diabolo.ca forum has been around for over 10 years now. (Older than Youtube!) What a great video to mark the occasion.

I must confess this is nicer than what I expected. I liked the music a lot, it provides a nice atmosphere, I believe.
My favorite contributions are a bit mainstream when it comes to names, buuuut: Samuli, Marko, Void (shoting angle and tricks), Jean Felix, Ben, Graham second combo, and the whole shot of Ong Hock is very cheering up. Of course I enjoyed a lot of other tricks.
In general I think people put great care this year when filming, and the result is very homogeneus.
Good work everyone!

Maxmaestro, i'm using one of those led filming things. I think it's been in our every video we have filmed past 2 years. Usually it's stays hidden outside of the footage ;)

I think my one is one of the cheapest I got my hands on: http://www.amazon.com/Yongnuo-Professional-300pcs-sheets-Camera/dp/B00AZFE5DS

I've got one of those lights. They're really good, but a battery only lasts for 30-40 minutes. Wish there was a mains adaptor.

Man, it's been around 6 years since I touched a diabolo. Had a random thought to check the .CA site after a long time and stuff has really moved on. puts me off even trying to get decent again. Seriously amazing stuff!
Peace

Thank you all who liked my contribution to this 2014 thingy by edit, music use and maybe even trick-wise. I also truly understand if you don't like it. I liked doing it anyway, for me this was fun little project and it also means a lot to me to be part of this 10 years D.Ca history. I am already waiting for 2015 D.ca collaboration video. Should we start planning it?

On YouTube this 2014 collaboration video got comments that it didn't have enough 2-4 diabolo tricks, and it had too much stuff with one, unfortunately I couldn't do much for this as this is collaboration video, I did what I could with the material I got! If you want to see more 2-8 diabolo tricks, please provide them. Share them with the person who is doing the D.ca collaboration video edit next time. You (we) make this diabolo juggling culture what it is. If you like to whine, it will be whiny one and that it is. I personally liked all the clips I got for the edit. For me it is great to see new players, old players, people around the world sharing the love for the diabolo with others. For me this whole collaboration thing is amazing. Thank all for the all the ten years. Thank you Sean for founding the D.ca. Diabolo culture would be different without this forum.

Special thank for Jussi, for me his trick was the big one 2014.

Thank you all and Cheers!!! Have a great 2015.
