Cleaning handsticks?
« on: March 16, 2015, 10:15:44 pm »
Anyone find a good method to clean their handsticks?  I have a Sundia carbon fiber handstick in a lighter color that the foam grip portion needs some cleaning.  Trying to find the best method to bring out dirt.  It's another reason it's better to have a black grip area than any other color.

Just regular handsoap of dish washing does the job, together with some hot(ish) water and a good rubbing in with bare hands. For maximum results remove the handle from the stick. Also making a paste from baking soda (adding a bit water) and letting that dry in should do something, although I have jet to try this method myself.

I'll give the baking soda a try.  I already used a toothbrush and citrus hand cleaner and it looked nicer afterwards.
