Come on Nev, most of the people doing diabolo nowadays are born after 2004, so they might not know that dinosaurs exist and some might believe in thing called intelligent design instead of evolution.

Is that the Austrian gang being skilled and funny again?? Correct, Diabolo Ensemble Vienna is back!

oh, and I needed to upload this for a friend two days ago, so I thought I can share the link here, sort of fits.

This is me eons ago, 2009, juggling in front of a igloo made by students in Trondheim, Norway.
This is actually the video that was the germ of my current hate towards vertical videos. I partially hate vertical videos because of this one.

The ninja doing it again, the 3D round at the end is killer.
I feel the 60fps make a hell of a difference for diabolo videos.

3:06 gives it away that he is, fixed axle diabolos do not last that long. Also the beautiful fts combo before it is certainly possible with fixed axle diabolos but the way he only needs to accelerate it a bit to go into another combo doesn't seem right, I would also be expecting the diabolos to wobble waaaay more than that and the suns to be slower, those kinds of very fast suns are a result of using bearings. There's also the fact that he uses his left hand quite a lot during his shuffle, likely due to the fact that he is using bearings.

It's most definitely bearings... most of this stuff wouldn't be anything near possible with fixed able diabolos.

In order to keep my reputation of diabolo connoisseur, I asked him.
What I understood is that in PAO battles there are three rounds, the first is with bearings, the second one without, and the third one is free. So you can choose bearings or fixed axle.
But the final round has two rounds with bearings, two with fixed, and one free.
For example in the final round of PAO, he did first fixed axle (0:58 - 1:05), then bearings (1:58-2:40), then fixed axle (3:15-4:15), at 4:49 he used 1d bearing, and at 5:57 he did bearings 3D crazy combo.
So you guys were right that he uses only bearings in that video I shared on 21st of March. But apparently at least in PAO he also used fixed axle.
