I had mine for about 6 months before one of them got all bendy. I don't really know why it happened but I wouldn't worry about them snapping. From my experience they are a nice pair of sticks.

They might break today, they might break 5 years from now, you never know. It's just the nature of carbon fiber. Just use them, treat them well, don't get them nicked, and don't worry about it.

If you apply enough pressure from the side they will break. The alternative is aluminum and it bends, so pick your poison.

(Never broke my carbon or fiberglass sticks, but I haven't used them in years.)

Mine broke in a week because i was being real rough :). I got new ones had em for a month and haven't got bendy. Don't diabolo in side or outside near trees where you could hit the tree and they could break.

He's right.. Just don't do suicides when there are hard things around like a wall or something.. Or something where you can smash it onto.

Then they won't break.. But mine broke because they got stuck in my wheel..

Hi

Some people say they break really easily, but I use mine all the time and throw them at the floor when I fail tricks, so pretty often, and mine are fine.
don't get them nicked

Ha, mine got nicked out of my bag at school, along with my sundia fly.

Oh My God,
My stick snapped under the grip after months of abuse ;) Just don't worry about it.

go with sundia or tiabolo sticks from diabolomoves.com they seem to be more durable.

My carbons have lasted for one and a half years now, and they just bend a little bit. My friend broke his carbons in a week, so that they were too bendy to be used. It's a question of luck mostly ;D

Out of interest - has anyone broke any Sundia or Taibolo carbon sticks yet?  I've smashed mine into metal chair legs and other hard objects doing vertax genocides so many times and so far no damage.

Some sundia carbon stories would be good, I bought a pair from Nev recently and I'd like to know how to treat them.
