the words "hyper diabolo diabig" are not there any more, replaced by the word "yoho!". But only some of the colours have the modification.

Yes, but the axles on the ones that say "Yoho" are different (bigger) and also the Cups of the new type feels strange. It seems to me like there´s a different type of "feel" to the new diabolos (maybe that´s strange?). Anyway, I´m looking for the old type in white and/or yellow.

What are the diabolo's William uses in this video? i looked at all the links you gave me but i couldn't find the colour scheme/diabolo he used, they seem to be red with a white star shape in the middle of the cup (i believe they may be YoHo's) and they awsome and i was wondering where i could get some (i live in england) and how much they cost

Thanks,
Aiden.

PS I'm using this video too help me with my 3 diabolo starts, if anyone else can give me advise then please PM me

William's diabolos

They are YOHO JUMBO

this is the link from Taiwan website

http://www.wyyw.net/diabolo/
If you want to get some from Taiwan.

call Mr. Lin at 886-968100516
or meet him on line by MSN Messenger:yoyoworldnick@hotmail.com Yahoo Messenger: lkglin.tw
or E-mail :lkg.home@msa.hinet.net
In English Mr. Lin can read/write/speak English

William used the purple ones of YOHO JUMBO. and he removed the YOHO brand caps to reduce weight then sticked silver tape just like that. pictures attached. check it out..小

You can also buy them from japan and the link to the diabolo pictures don't work. Also, wouldn't the diabolos wobble if he took the washers of the diabolo?

Does anyone know where to find the Diabolos "Benny Zo" uses in his instructionvideos? They make some sort of hissing noise and are really cool. He uses a pink and blue one. Also, a very good taiwanese kidplayer (I think his name was Feiling or something?) uses them too.

Also, the ones with a really big space between them (Benny uses them in a performance but I don´t know the link). There were very "thin" cups on them. Where could I find these diabolos (all help is greatly apreciated)? I´m guessing both types of Diabolos are Taiwanese. Is there a website that sells these?
It would help much if salespeople spoke english but it´s fine if they don´t too.

yohos been changing their diabolos for a while. they dont sell small glow/glitter anymore, theyve added new colours, washers. also the quality of their UV diabolos has improved. They use to be made in australia, but now china. i went to the place they were made, its mad, i found a bad full of washers with Ryo Yabes name on them, i should have asked for one. This is one of my freebie diabolos that was rejected by yoho (i think they were experimenting?), its almost clear, glows, and still strong like the normal ones, i now want to adapt a light kit thing to it.

They're more of a cross between circus & diabig - the cups material is somewhere in the middle - slightly plastic / slightly circus tacky. The hubs are like the curved ultra light kits and the axles are just like diabigs only slightly wider. They have a nice feel to them.

Interesting. I've always wanted to try a circus with the material of a finesse and vice versa. Just for fun. But then again thats what diabolo is all about.

Ok - so I received some info back from the manufactures yesterday (once again thanks Angela & William :-*) and....if there is enough interest :-\ I will start selling these diabolos from the UK too. Prices would be similar to the Fly's (£20 - £21 mark). I played with Williams diabolos at BJC and they were really nice - almost a hybrid Diabig / Circus with JC's curved hubs (the old stable Jap ones not the crappy Yoho Australian Version). I already took a big risk with the Fly's (just broke even by the way :)) and wanted to gauge demand before taking the plunge with these also - If anyone is interested in obtaining some, please PM me with details (ideally I'd like to get some idea of pre-orders - I will be looking to sell both through established retailers long term but in the meantime would like to know roughly how many to order short term)

If anyone else tried Williams at BJC feel free to chip in your comments on the quality / feel of these diabolos. I Sure liked them.

Cheers all

I would be interested but for now ill stick with my flys i just got from you. If the feedback from people is good and they are considered on par or better than flys then i will probably splash out on some.

Just a question about them - Did you get any information about the wieght of these from the manufactures? And if so could you post some information (and also whether or not they come with wide axles) please.

I tried two of them at the BJC and liked them. I'd have happily gone for a set if they'd become available before Flys did. I liked them for the same reasons. That also means that I'll possibly be interested later, but am fine for the moment.
