Single Sticking
« on: November 11, 2007, 07:15:12 pm »
Hey I was bored and had an extra energy stick ::) and decided to put a loop of string on it... and what i figured out is you can single stick a diabolo with out much limitation, it's like a mix of loop and standard play. I don't know any real loop diabolo tricks, but I was able to do a mini-genocide and infinite suicides... and a lucky whip catch, it's pretty cool but I don't think it's really revolutionary, but I thought I would put it out there.

Luke Burrage was doing that quite a few years ago actually.

That should still work. He had quite a few ideas that no one in the audience really gave him credit for.

Yeah, definitely... he did in my opinion some really cool stuff. My single sticking is a little bit different, as I said I use a loop. His looks a whole lot better though

He should've cut out trying to do the string climb. That ruined the performance imo.

What you need is the diab hooked onto the string.  Maybe counterweight offsring tricks will do.
