I would like to see Antonin winning... I love his style, but I don`t think he`s gonna win... Maybe Ryo 1st?

I have a feeling Baptiste might get 1st because of his skills with 3 diabolos

I'd guess it will be Priam or Ryo that wins. They are all so good, so hard to guess.

Martijn, this is the first WJF and the first fully international diabolo competition to my knowledge. Are you thinking of the IJA juggling competitions?

Ryo has become very strong. He is now undeniably the best with 3 diabolos in the world. We all (including the French) stand around him with our jaws on the floor. He can chain sequences of suns together, sun into an arm stall (and get out of it), whip whenever he wants to and correct, and he can do these tricks while sitting in a chair  .... basically he can throw around 3 diabolos like we are used to seeing 2 diabolos done. He doesn't, however showcase all of this in his routine.

The finals are tomorrow. We've been working throughout today on getting the judging routine down and fast. We have to have a score for the diabolist by the time the TV interview is completed. There isn't much time.

Personally I'm far more interested in the good stuff that goes on in the gym - the sharing of tricks and inspiration (as I think many people here are). Nonetheless, this should be an excellent competition and a way of getting diabolo out to the public.

I'll send in a report after the finals (I'll try and do it before I let Priam on my laptop to give away the results on Jongle.net :P).

o.k its like this
i think that in 1 diabolo the most skilled diaboloist is antonin
in 2 diabolos ill bet my money on priam
in 3 baptiste will take the jackpot
so i really dont know who will really win
life is like a bike,
if its to easy you are probably going down

It's so difficult for me to think who will become the winner of WJF diabolo competition.
In terms of country, I want Ryo win, but I also want to see other diabolists doing incredible tricks!
It is true I think that the final will be the most exciting show.

Really? I first hrar!
He is mastering a lot of tricks very quick!

Yeah, he shows us only the tricks he can do completely. Cool!
Not only Ryo but also other diabolists -Priam, Antonin, Baptiste, and Matt Hall- are the top level of diabolo categoly.
I really wish I were in the place where the competiton are having!

Yeah, Andrew Conway has been posting updates quite regularly, so I think that will be the result.  I imagine Sean will give a more full writeup later - I don't think diabolo is really Andrew's thing.

no because I have the knowledge (and use a good isp) you could try using an oline proxy though or read rec.juggling through google (not  up to date though) http://groups-beta.google.com/group/rec.juggling
try this (simpler than changing your computer settings)
http://anon.free.anonymizer.com/http://www.jugglingdb.com

Now to get back to the WJF. congratulations Antonin. I cant wait to get the full run down from Sean to find out what happened.
