Its definatly ten, But it doesn't look like they're on his chin. Look closely, you can see what might be his arm..?

or his shoulder?

In the clip I'm pretty sure you see them on his chin.

Why... do you people actually CARE about the fact that it is 9, 10, 11 or 42 diabolos??? Come on, there are way more interesting topics on here.

Same thoughts there. Just didn't dare actually writing it ;D. Useless discussion.

Meh, I think it's useful. It's a certain skill. I don't give a crap about poi and I will never try poi because I can't take it, but that doesn't mean I'll take away anyone's right to talk about it. Same with diabolo balancing....I tried it once and I couldn't even get one to stand up, but I'll let others talk about it.

It's not breaking any rules, in fact it's totally on topic, and the discussion is logical and civil. So let's keep it that way, eh?

I just really hope that someone have mentioned here the following:

The longer the object, the easier to balance. Theoreticly offcourse.

OK, I'll write the full sentence - I thought you guys know what I wanted to say anyway: I find this topic useless.

It simply doesn't bother me at all. It was my fault, though (As i normally don't forget to write down opinions that way - to avoid (sorry Void, that was by accident :D) problems)  :)

But it isn't one object. If you don't like the topic, lock it. I was just wondering what the record is.

Indeed it isn`t one object. But when you balance, it is one structure. And you cannot balance several structures, or objects on your head right?

Don`t worry about me not liking this topic, I just wanted to at my 2 pence to it.

But surely, if you're balancing something like balls, three balls must be harder than two. Theoretically, more diabolos would be easier, but in practice...

Beni you're right. But Arjan is correct also. Try balancing a spoon on your chin, then a broom. I guarantee the broom is much easier!

Actually, I'm having second thoughts. The ball argument is obselete as you must incorporate fricition into the equation because without friction nothing can move. I was trying to say that in a perfect word, diabolos and balls are the same thing as you are stacking them face to face, even if a ball's face is a few atoms. However, This is ignoring friction and you can't do that so maybe my argument isn't so good. In theory Arjan is right but there's the weight issues as well as the fact that you can't allign the diabolos perfectly. Anyway, sorry if this makes no sense at all, very scientific for something like balancing diabolos.

Well, you can do two object balances on your head say, one on the chin and another on the nose.  In my opinion, it's actually a balance on a balance on a balance etc.  I think there's a point when it becomes easier and then becomes harder, balancing one diabolo is tricky (because it's short) and then 3 or 4 is a bit easier.  When you get up to 10, then it wobbles more and there's more points of contact where it can go wrong etc.

Still, definitely the correct choice of diabolo, the Finesse seems to be multi-purpose.

I think a major problem is getting them at the top of your tower of diabolos no?
Unless you stack them all at the start, then lift them.
Not sure how many times my diabolos have been in the pond

I think that people stack always them before they put them on their chins.
