What diabolos have you put hubstacks on?
« on: July 09, 2008, 07:24:31 pm »
Hi

I decided that I would try to put hubstacks on some of my other diabolos or make my own, and I imagined that other people have done the same, so I started this thread to ask people about what diabolos people have put hubstacks on.  And obviously the idea of hubstacks for diabolos was taken from LaNgErZ, I just thought I would try and increase the power of his fantastic invention.

I'll start things of here are my homemade hubstacks for my Harlequin Medium :
Can't figure this picture inserting thing out I'll put in pictures ASAP

it simple. its a plastic tube, with a bearing in them and they are put on the end of the bolt. when you hold them the diabolo spins freely.

also, this was a pretty large bump for no real reason. please look at the day it was last posted in, thanks.

Did you make your own or adapt Langerz's Revo Kit?

Not completly correct, they're not just put on the end of the bolt, I believe Langerz's mentioned before that they break and come off to easily. They're bolted on to the diabolo.

the only problem with home-made ones is that if the bearing is flat in the middle (like flys, suns and taibolos) and not threaded (like circi and finesses) then it is very difficult to make the bolt your self.

Also Jazz-man3 made his using some thing plastic (like drain piping) glued in a circle round a bearing.

The hubstacks people are talking about are the kits sold by Langerz.  Check out the 'related topics' bit at the bottom of this thread to get some more info.
