Hi everyone!
I'm getting excited about the Scottish Juggling Festival, being as it's my first time to Scotland and all.
I know Barnesy's (sp?) going to make it. Anyone else?
The festival organizers have asked me to do workshops, and rightly so, since they're footing the bill to get me there, so....
What workshops would you like to have?
I was thinking about doing an excallibur workshop but there's loads more we could do as well. Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Matt

I've never tried excalibur stuff - sounds good though. It would be nice to do something a bit different.

Do you actually mean a scottish convention or do you mean the british?
I will be at BJC, i'd love an excaliber, i cant get it at all. But that a few months away, so u are probably not talking about it already.

Yeah, he means the Scottish, Norbi. The one at the start of Feb, not the BJC.

It apears that the Scottish has had to be cancelled unfortunately

I hope Matt can get over for the British instead.

I just read that on rec.juggling one minute ago.
What the F@#$k?

I sent Graham an e-mail as well. We'll see what he says.
This is lame in the extreme, more so because I had to find out on rec.juggling. weak........

I can't believe they've done that. Especially without even telling you. Crazy.

Can anyone confirm that this "Charles O Donoghue" is the real deal?
It just seems a little over the top for them to go about it like that.

I spoke to Mini before I posted that, he tends to have his ear to the ground.
Pretty lame to find out that way Matt. I assume they wanted to get the word out quick (or somebody decided the juggling world needed to find out quickly before the organisers got a chance to tell the people from the show).

Yeah, we know Charles, and I'm certainly confident in him. He wasn't the main organiser though. If he's posting that, I can only imagine the main organisers have pulled out. People had suggested running a convention up there so close to running the British was a bad idea.

Okay, so....as y'all might have seen on rec.juggling, the Scottish Juggling Festival is back on. Graham just e-mailed me with essentially the same message that he posted to rec.juggling.
So, I'm coming over for a bit, come hell or high water.
So, back to our original topic--how about an excallibur workshop and maybe a 2 diabolo workshop?
Matt
Today's my 35th birthday and getting the Scottish back on track is definitely a good gift.
