Diabolo.ca Video Tennis 1
« on: February 14, 2007, 10:37:42 am »
Hey y'all, sorry for the delay, I've just been lazy :D

I finally finished the starting move for you 3, Nick, Beni and Ceri-Anne. Each one of you has to learn these moves and create your own ending move(s) which start right where I stopped. Have fun! I hope you like it. EDIT: I forgot to tell, if you finished your video, please send it to me and to me only, so I can release all three videos at the same time :) (and host them for you if you'd like)

Nice serve, Martijn!
I shall have a play around with it and see what I can come up with.
This should be fun.
Nick.

Yeah, make it a nice easy start why don't you...  That backhand catch is hard enough as it is, plus those fancy mounts and stick swinging, that's just showboating ;-)

I just wanted to make it interesting Chiok :P The mini suicide w/ a stopover is one of my favourite yoyo (5A) crossover moves at the moment, it just flows so nice :)

So you'd call a rubberarm catch a backhand catch huh? Interesting...

At 46 seconds thats a rubberwrist? It looks like it is wrapped around your arm in some sort of weird way, impressive trick though.

Well yeah, that's basically the definition of a rubberarm/wrist catch :P Usually it's done from arm orbits though (instead of outta nothing).

I catch rubberarms differently from the video. I hook the diabolo with the string as I'm wrapping my arm. I'm planning to film on saturday, so if I can't get the 'proper' catch by then would it be alright if I do it my style?

Getting quite desperate to see these entries now. It's been a while. Any news?
Arm orbits used to be a problem... now they're a way of life!!
