New Spinabolo?
« on: June 29, 2007, 04:23:24 am »
My friend sent me what appeared to have been copied out of a news article, it said that the Spinabolo had been redesigned and now had rubber cups, and other things but he's not on... and I want to know if anyone else has any information. I do know though that Spintastic's doesn't make the Spinabolo anymore.

[Edit - 1]Sorry I don't have the message, or the source.

[Edit - 2]JugglingStore.com is selling them =b

I got one yesterday! The cup material is very soft and swishes A LOT, but it is shiny too! Shiny rubbery plastic, like the grand continental? The bearing noise is less but I don't know if more play will make it louder, most likely though. When you drop it on concrete it makes nasty black smudges =/. It's balance and handling is really nice, and if you speed it up too much, the cups because they are so flimsy will start to warp and bend and it's kind of funny, but hey just pumping it a little bit makes it faster then any fixed diabolo. In comparison to my other spinabolo I can do chinese acceleration, and that is nice, as it's one of my primary methods. I'm going to be playing with it in vertax today, and hopefully have a better review.

[edit] Oh they feel heavy, but I've been using the Spinabolo Pro 4 inch diabolo most recently and that thing doesn't have much weight to it so it could just be that I've adjusted to that.
