Can anybody help me to find one of those, I lost one, and I had my costume made for this colour. They are not produced anymore. I´ll get you a brand new diabolo of your choice, and you will be welcome to see a performance of mine, if you ever come down to Germany. Please contact me: diabolist "at" juggler.net
Cheers, Lena

I have an orange one but I dont know if it is dark orange, have they made more than one nuance. I am switching over to finnesse G2 so if I got the one you want I can surely make the trade. Although it might be dirty and even scared...

Oh well, I would love to help you out if I can. Otherwise good luck in your search.

I don't understand what you said to him
But I think there are more than 1 nuances of orange, because you say that those you want to have are not being produced anymore, and when I ordered 3 new Henrys Circus yesterday they also offered me orange!

There's only one type of orange there sparx.  I believe the shading Lena's after went out of production a long time ago.  I remember meeting Norbi at the BJC and he was either annoyed that he couldn't get hold of the orange he wanted (which I believe Priam had there) or he was boasting that he got the colour before it went out of production....can't remember which though  :D

Oj, din svenska var ju redigt bra. Men om det är så att det fortfarande säljs en nyans av orange så antar jag att det är den jag har, eftersom jag köpte min i november förra året.

Kanske borde fota den innan jag skickar?

Hello guys,
I got it a long time ago, something like 3 or 4 years, and I guess Mattias´diabolo is actually not the right colour, so please keep your eyes open!
Thank you so much,
Lena

Har tittat på den nu(var hos min flickväns lillasyster) och den var ganska ljus, ledsen att jag inte kunde hjälpa till. Ska lägga upp en bild på den jag har:

Okey guys, it is 99,9% sure that this is the nuance that Lena does not want (compared to a white finesse:

and that white fuzzy thing is a crushed popcorn.

Heah sweety!

It's true that I have 5 of this dark original orange, and this orange was replaced by a lighter orange. I bought 3 of them new 4 years ago, I bought 3 second hand ones in juggling conventions, and I lost 1.

Check the color here :

http://priampierret.free.fr/artofdiabolo/picts/pictinfo8.jpg

These are my training diabolos for 4 years now, I am really in love with them, and I use all of them because I just started to work on the 5d high start (but I can swap with another color to train this).

So Lena the only thing I can do now is lending 1 to you until your or me buy another second hand one in a juggling convention, so please everybody keep on looking for the lost dark orange diabolos, Lena or me could do a lot for them :-)

Thanks

Priam

Bonus thing : this is a good occasion to release the trailer of the show we do Lena and me (website coming soon).
Check it out there (MPEG 24 Mo):

Surely you could give her one as a present, a dark orange diabolo can't mean more than Miss Kohn, can it?  5D high start?  Hope that's not a self start, or that would just be crazy.

Nice trailer too, looks like a really good rappor/connection you have which is great in a duo performance. (imagine passing with someone you hated, you'd always be aiming for their face, but that's my excuse for my poor throws.)

I have a single henrys circus of that old orange colour... unfortunately it's also my favourite diabolo:

Best of luck finding a replacement, Lena. I'm sure you'll find one shortly.

That's a fantastic show trailer you've got there, Priam. To keep the topics separate, could we direct comments on that video to this thread, please:

Could be any number of reasons, their rubber supplier changed the colour pellets they put in due to availability or whatever.  A chemical they used in the manufacture of that particular colour didn't pass CE safety specs or something.  Numerous reasons unfortunately that mean it's a rareity now.  Funny how oranage seems to be a favoured colour for props, how come...?

I  have an orange circus that i think is the old colour. Its definitely darker than the picture on firetoys. I dont really use it any more, i like my finesses. I will get a picture of it soon if i can. I will clean it first, its really dirty.
It would help if someone could post a side-by-side picture of both diabolos so i can see the difference in colours. I think mine is dark orange.
