My Revolution kit arrived on Thursday, just in time for a long weekend. Sadly the weather refused to cooperate, confining me to playing indoors. With that caveat in place, here are my first impressions of these kits.
Installing the kit was straight forward and they play great, too. Low ceilings put a stop to many of the ideas I had, but messing about with some simple grabs and manipulations was still a lot of fun. I even figured out a new Eiffel Tower, so its definitely thumbs up from me. I can't wait for some good weather to get outside and try out the rest of my ideas.

To echo Nev's statement, I'm sure I've only just begun to scratch the surface of what is possible with these kits and I am really looking forward to seeing what develops in the future.

Great job, Langley.

Nick.

well as every one else has said they are quality, and i must say that i completely agree there easy to install and have no problames with wobble or anything of the sort. as for new tricks I'm working on a 2d trick that I'm sure will be unleashed sooner or later ;D. no problames at all

Just to say a big thanks to langerz.

Received mine this morning, they were a breeze to put together. I really like the weight of the diabolo with this kit on and have already got a few things together after 1/2 an hour.

Be warned though these puppies bite when your first getting the catch! totaly worth it though.

I'd just like to say after seeing that video I think this is pretty impresive. If I get a Finesse I'm definitely buying one of these.

Pretty sexy. Sweet video. I want one or two. Too much though.
Get one of those bearing mods for finesse and you'd be rocking.

Could you put the kit on one side of the diabolo only? Just wandering if I could get 1 kit to cover my 2 finesses. Would this work?

I don't know how this kit is working, but i can imagine that it'll mess up the balance? Maybe you can use a counterweight, that way it's possible. I actualy don't know if it's possible with this kit!

I'm not sure that you could for a start it would mess up the weight horrible (suppose that a counter weight might do the trick maybe even one half of a light kit??) but more importantly you get a longer axel to go through he center of the diab and if you were to take off one side i guess you couldn't tighten it properly due to the length, in saying that i could be absolutely wrong?!?

I got my kit today and it's a lot of fun! :) I love that gyroscopic feel to it.

I must say that I don't know exactly what doors it will open... maybe if I give it a good gym session tonight. Also, has anyone found a way yet to mount it on a (bearing) Fly? I reckon you'd need a longer axle for it? Nev? ;D

OK - done  ::)

You need a longer axle (I hand made this one - I've asked Sundia about producing some) and to turn the aluminum spacers the other way around and cut a bit off the narrow bit (so it sits within the bearing without projecting out beyond it) - It still works fine on a finesse with this bit cut off btw.

Now I REALLY like this bit of kit
& I've suggested a few mods to Mr L so expect more cool stuff to appear soon ;)

I must say that I don't know exactly what doors it will open...

Ahem... dare I say 2d vertax? It would be the wrap start but both diabolos would be spinning relatively fast. It also adds another dimension to knots.
