So i thought about swinging... how do i do it ?

I tried it a couple of times, but when i did the left swinging the left diabolo just blended and stopped spinning ?

any help ?

a video might help  ;D

BTW, i know there is a topic for it but the last post there is from 2005  :-\

Just because the last post was from 2005 doesn't mean it won't be helpful, have you read them? They may answer your question.

Remember one of the golden rules.
Its better to bump up an old topic than start a new one.

I nailed this trick yesterday on my second attempt!
I think it helps knowing some basic poi weaves.

Well you beat me there, I've only managed to do it once before screwing everything up. Is it easier with S-fan?

Nope, not for me. It feels strange.

What is the timing on the swinging fan, I too just got my fan solid and want to try this... every time I do it all just falls apart

The timing would depend on how fast your fan's going, go the same speed, you'll get it eventually.
I keep getting stuck on my unco left side, it's annoying.

Here is what you should try, if you don't have poi, like me, use your hand sticks to make a figure 8 like the basic poi swing do this same motion, your issue is that the right diabolo is the on'y thing doing any thing, both diabolos go outside the fan, and handsticks on each side. I think that on your left side the diabolo isn't following the right. make sure it passes to the outside of your left hand then drops to a fan, before continuing. Don't simply use the right diabolo then bring the left diabolo through your arms.

ilearnt to fan swing recently when i was bored (2d isn't my thing as everyone knows) and i found it easier to learn a fan airwrap from both sides so you know when to sun the diabolos.
