Paint?
« on: May 26, 2008, 06:07:54 pm »
Hey people,
I was just wondering, since i'm quite new to diabolo's, does it hurt if you spray your diabolo with graffiti?
That's a hidden talent of mine...
I'm thinking of spraying my plain white diabolo.
first i'll let it spin fast, then put some dots on it, which will become blurs in the fast motions. I'll do it with a number of colours...So will it **** up the balance or something?

Gz Myke (:
Thank you, thank you.

most of us tend to dye our diabs using RIT. the paint may change the feel of the diab depending on the type (no latex or spray on enamel)

like some paints are sticky or higher friction so it ruins your string or something. Stuff like that

When correcting diabolos, many techniques involve contacting the cups/bells with your sticks or string, so if you change the texture of the cups/bells, the response from your diabolo will differ.

Eg. stickier cups/bells with have more touchy corrections etc.
