Here's a silly question,

Do you still need to get the FLY plastic washers to use LEDs with the new 255g Suns.

Now I just have to wait for my silly answer

Thank you

Do you still need to get the FLY plastic washers to use LEDs with the new 255g Suns.
You don't have to - the LED's will fit straight onto the stock model with the metal washers - it will weigh about 280g with the LED's fitted in this setup.
But if you prefer a lighter diab - then the FLY washers will keep the weight down to about 265g with LED's fitted.
You can't use the Sun plastic washer with LED's due to the shape of them.

actually, nev, i have a question bout the LEDs.
dyou know how durable they are in terms of surviving drops and whatnot? my old finesse light kits broke after a drop (not even that heavy of one).

O.O   *crawls out from under a rock*  Those transparent parts look like...*touches them*...cutlery plastic!!!

Thanks for the pictures, everyone!  Those look mighty fine.

By the way, how DO these Suns feel like?  Physical touch-and-squeeze-real-hard-wise.

[For above comment]  Now I know how Baghead feels like...>_>

I "HOPE" It will be back up soon - in the meantime try my new host site at www.diabolomoves.co.uk/diabolos - It's up to date and fully working whilst I sort out my .com nightmare

They have improved it from the original version (it now has a more durable white plastic rather than the clear one before) - but I'd say its about the same as the finesse on "breakability". (I've never personally broke either though) - I am currently working with Sundia on developing a new LED kit which would be pretty durable (if it ever gets made)

Great news on the light kits, I like my current ones as they are simple but effective. A forward facing LED and a charger would be sweet extras.

thanks nev, albeit a bit late, i didn't see your reply. I've broken two finesse light kits (damn expensive too ><), but so far my sundia lights are doing well. maybe develop some sundia lights with solid colors...? just a random thought, that one =P
