im going back to school in augest and i want to go to a convention and im busy in june i live in scotland and the holadays are differnt otherwise i would go to the EJC  :(

So what you meant to say was 'that website told me everything  I wanted to know.Thank you Seán for going out of your way to point me to a place that means I never have to ask when is such and such convention on ever again.

There tends to be fewer conventions during the summer months in the UK* this is down to several factors.
The number of conventions that rely on students or student facilities.
because everyone is performing during the summer. (and we all perform dont we?)
People going on real holidays with families etc.

*making Salford (june 25th) a welcome change

Isn't there a Crawley Convention in August this year? (August is still a summer month in this country, isn't it?)
Of course it is quite a trek from Scotland to Crawley, so this might not be your cup of tea (or hot chocolate).
