Camp David
« on: December 09, 2008, 01:41:42 pm »
People coming to this you know who you are, just having a thread makes this much easier to communicate with people.

19-21st of December, my postcode is TN63BQ, I am able to pick people up on the Friday from either Tunbridge Wells or Crowborough train station, don't make it to late though I wish to get drunk. Lz I can get you from Uckfield if its easier for you to get to?

Its going to be fairly cold so remember to wrap up warm, I have however got logs for the burner so that will give us something nice an warm to sit around, I also have barrels for cold water and beeeeeeeeer! Bring some cash to chip in for food and we will have the bbq on the go go.

For the Saturday I've got us some hall time at work for a 'serious spin' the rest of the time we will have to settle for the garden. Plus we can rock out something rotten on guitar hero...

If you don't want to travel with alcohol thats fine there is plenty of shops around and close to my house. I look forward to seeing you all there!

p.s Don't forget tents people :P, also just confirm with me you are attending so that I know who to expect.

I'm getting the 16:48 train from London Bridge to Crowbrough on Friday if it helps anyone wanting to get the same train down (it'll help keep Dave's petrol usage down as well).

Looking forward to it

Hopefully I'l be able to have Alexstock in the Summer to make up for it, although thats only in proposal stages currently.

To all involved, to save the hassle of allocating names for secret santa (yes it's still happening), just bring along something amazing and novelty, we'll thrown them in a bag and everyone can pick one out.  If someone picks their own present they pick again.  Sorted

So get something sorted!!

Big love

We should put a money limit on it, pressies have to be between £2.50 and £2.99 give or take a few pence? Maybe different price, but that should get some odd and funny ones!

Maate! I'm not getting the train anymore.  My dad's got a meeting in Bristol on Thursday so I'm getting a lift home and heading to Dave's from Ashford the next day.  I would have mentioned it but I assumed everyone was heading over later.  I can still meet you at 5.30ish for when your train gets in.  Which station are you getting in to?

How does this sound to people, on the sat night at work we may have a painter in over night, for this to happen they need to have a duty manager in the building (me) now my operation manager said that he may not mind all of us diabing in the hall he said we can still drink and stuff. So if he gives the all clear would we like to do this? Or would you rather just stay in my garden... Everyone would still be able to go out and smoke...

The hall is big, has heaters on, Looby has seen it so he knows the size I'm sure he will agree and say its adequate. So far as I know beer is not a problem, I will have some cleaning products in the hall so if you spill anything just quickly wipe it up, it is after my place of work so we can't take the mickey. We would also have to stay in the hall no wandering around the centre just in case anything should happen. But theres benches and crash mats and shiz to sit lie on, fire exits for people to pop out and smoke from, should be a laugh.

I'm going to find out today when I go to work, if not its the garden and keeping the fire stocked up on logs!

Yes! A video will be cool, already thought about how to use some of the equipment at work to make a diab vide unlike any others...

Funty thats fine.

EDIT: Wrap up warm boys, the painter is coming during the day time on the sat and the sunday now... We can still use the hall during sat day time for a bit, but alas we will have to brave it up outside, s'all good though as I say lots of logs for the fire so nay worries!

Looby I have a spare tent if you like, it may smell a bit of damp however, I forget to dry it out :P.

Station is in Jarvis Brook (practicaly part of Crowborough) - TN6 2JR
My house - TN6 3BQ Looby you know which house it is :)
Freedom Leisure - TN6 2TN

Sorted, the marquee is massive, so tonight we will have some fun putting that up in the dark, guitar hero and all that will be set up tomorrow, we can get a fire going tonight, some of us can drive up to the shop for supplies. See you later 'gang'.
