Video embedding

The Diabolo.ca forum supports automatic video embedding for YouTube, Vimeo, and Juggling.tv.

Disabling embedding
At any time you can disable embedding by wrapping a link in "noembed" BBCode tags. For example:

[noembed]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukmulzzbgco[/noembed]
will result in
[noembed]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukmulzzbgco[/noembed]

YouTube
YouTube videos will automatically embed in high quality widescreen format (if available) with a link such as:
Code: [Select]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukmulzzbgco
Clicking on the embedded video once will start it. Clicking again will take the user to the YouTube page with that video. It may take a while (up to 30 minutes) for a high quality version of your video to be converted. Until then, your video will not play embedded. Further, videos with only a low quality version may not appear in wide screen.

Vimeo
Similarly, Vimeo links will automatically embed, however, Vimeo only allows a smaller lower quality video to be embedded. Clicking on one of the links in the embedded video will take you to the Vimeo page with the full quality version.

Code: [Select]
http://www.vimeo.com/2455979

Juggling.tv
You can embed Juggling.tv videos by just pasting the full URL to the video page.

For example:
Code: [Select]
http://juggling.tv/video/682/diaboloca-collaboration-video-2007Juggling.tv - Diabolo.ca Collaboration Video 2007

More video embedding sites can be supported. If you are interested in embedding a video from a site other than YouTube, Vimeo, or Juggling.tv, contact Sean.
