Diabolo.ca Wallpaper
« on: March 30, 2009, 10:31:45 am »
Hey Sean is it perhaps possible to make some diabolo.ca walpapers with those pictures? ( whats the style name of these pictures on the shirts? )

(mod edit - this post has been split from the Diabolo.ca T-shirts thread and refers to the silhouette images)

Ben.

Um, yeah, I guess so. I can do something with the silhouettes and the logo, but beyond that I have no idea how to make an interesting background besides a plain colour. Anyone have any experience with this?

If you just want a plain background colour with a silhouette and logo I can definitely do that.

Any specific requests with colours, silhouettes, or screen resolutions?

Read his response through and it's easy to see who he's referring to....

Fancy twinning any decent designs with the oddballs competition Sean?  Obviously ommiting the d.ca advertisement.  You've got a prize winner under your belt ;)

Maybe. I wasn't sure if that would be bad form to use a design that's already in circulation.

Had a quick go at one design.

Original from start to finish... well except for about 6 images of paper texture which I borrowed.

Yeah, yeah, I know - it's not going to appeal to everyone. But I like it and I designed it for myself. Maybe someone else will like it too.

Edit - of course you can make it any colour. Take blue for example:

Thanks for making the large widescreen version! Its great for my desktop! :D It reminds me of the WJF logo.
Would you have a stock image of the centrepiece that I could have a play with? PM if you like.

Glad you like it. I added 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 for you non-widescreen folks. Any other screen size requests? It's good to know what people are using for future wallpapers too.

I'd like to see a 1920x1200 in the future. This will do for my MBP display for now, though.

Done. See the original post. It's good to get all the photoshop actions for resizing set up now anyways.

I believe it's a 441 from the t-shirts, wouldn't that fulfil the 3D siteswap?
