Nice one. It seems I'm the only one that doesn't bang out 3 in the first round.

Sweeeet! Good to see decent diaboloing getting such a good reaction from the general public. Great show. Good luck in the next round!

Also a great demo of JC's awesome finesse hubs.

Cool - it's surprising that they kept in your bobbles, though. Good job on recovering. It's probably the only time I've seen you have a tangle on stage.

The nice thing for you is that you have 4d ready to go for when you move on.

I doubt I could do that in front of Chuck Norris...
I swore it was Hans from Die Hard.

Well you´re not...then again I didn´t even pass the first round :-D.

Nice Aaro. That first tangle looked like it would mean a bit of trouble but well handled to keep it up like that with good energy and contact with the crowd. +1 for the backflip too.

Thanks for the kind words.

Will: Yea, don't know if it was such a good idea to go in with all guns blazing in the first round.

Duncan: They made a nice little drama out of that tangle, show'd it from three different cameras on slowmotion  :-| First i felt bit bad about them not cutting it out but in the end i think i will profit from the extra attention.

Sean: I'll continue promoting JC products, next one in line is Monobolo.

Good done and I think not with all guns blazing in the first round is a well tactic.
It was clearly to see which axle you used, and thanks in advance for
also promoting the Monobolo;-)

Saw this quite soon after it was released. Good job Aaro. I hardly ever see you missing during performance. They made huge deal about the start, what a drama. Well the tv and talent shows are all about drama, aren't they ;)

Actually i'm even more impressed you'r talent to speak Norwegian. Heck, that ain't even your second or third language. Like fourth, not sure if i could even perform after trying to speak Norwegian. That language messes me up everytime i hear it.

Wish you all the luck for semifinals. Go and show them!

I'm no talent. I'm pro ;) Well i got lot's of work as it is, so i'll leave space for other talents to succeed. I respect everyone who has courage to go through with all that tv-realitydrama.

Will cheer up for others. There's a lot of really good jugglers around, they should think about going there and performing. There are lot of really talented people.

I'm no talent. I'm pro ;)

My thoughts exactly. I said that to Finnish talent few years ago. Also said now when they asked last year. This year though, the timing was perfect, we were just done with the last big show we had in autumn, so i had some free time. Circus in Norway is even more in the marginal than in Finland, so i hope this will get me a bit more job opportunities. Even if i don't think of myself as a talent, i still need the publicity that the program can offer me. If that is what it takes to be a professional in Norway, i do it.

Yeah, crappy sarcasm from my side. Also probably not everyone knows that i lost to Aaro in Finnish Diabolo Championships...  Anyways It's just that i feel like the attention i would get from Finnish talent would not be good in my case. And if i feel that straight from the beginning i should stay at home. When they change their rating system, the way they film and make changes to the stage, i'll be happy to rethink my participation. I don't really do well on big stages and the space i would have to fill there is massive. No wonder the performers look lost there... And the Simon thing robbie, that's a perfect example why i don't like the show.

I'd rather market performances on my own. I'm not saying I'm better than everybody else or people who go to Talent. It's just the way i think now and the situation where i'm in. Also i know that good things can and will come from Talent programs. I wish all the best for fellow diaboloers. If anything i owe you for making diabolo more known in the world and by that creating more work for me as well.

But what really made me smile was to see FDA's Diabolo Championship trophy on stage. That's big. Aaro is Finnish diabolo champion and now he's almost Norwegian Talent already.

Nice Finesse monobolo mod. (I think Marko was bit sceptic with it at EJC, good laughs thou :) )

Was going to use the trophy more, but did not really have time.

The Finesse monobolo has a light kit.. evolution something. Was trying with different ways to make it balanced. It is still not, but had to use it because Finesses are just more beautiful.

They say, he is so cool, confident and proffessional.
And he really deserve to be in the final.
The leader of the judges are saying that the audience shoukd wote NOW!

Thanks again for the nice words. The diabolos are finesses, with a fire kits by Gora http://www.gora.hu/goraindex.html
I think he is still developing the kit, so i had the honour of trying out a prototype, works quite nice. The main advance is that you get to use proper diabolos with good axles. I could make a thread about them with pictures when i have the time and energy.
