I think i already said how i love this video. Will work really well as promo video because
it has tricks for jugglers and spectators. It's certainly on my top videos list. High respect
for everyone who takes time to film quality. Thanks Jesse.

It so good that I tell you again that I totally love it. Everything about it is high quality. And I must also say that I really like the direction that your style has evolved, lots of nice tricks I'd like to steal ;). Waiting for the summer to have some long and nice sessions with you and the boys.

Haven't watched all of it yet, but it looks pretty cool and well shot. And is that a threadless t-shirt I spy? I'm a fan of those myself.

Very nice. You had very dull scenery, but you made excellent use of it by using so many different angles and zooms. I liked the knee-string-armpit-wrist trap sequence.

[Veering off-topic a bit...]

I like the juxtaposition of the replies from Ben and me. It shows the differing viewpoints of people on videos. Some are only interested in what tricks they can see, others are pretty much uninterested in the tricks, but more on the 'viewing experience'[1] - concentrating on the craft and the execution of the videography. I guess that it shows that to please everyone, you have to make sure you concentrate on both.

And not many manage to do that.

You're right Void. I guess I'm one of those suckers that want to see both elements done very well! And Jesse has succeeded :)

i'd agree that the video is filmed very well with different camera angles etc but watching a video with the same old tricks[1] but with good camera angles is not really interesting is it?
i'd rather see a video with interesting tricks and camera angles...
 1. (not saying this video has just those)

Ok first of I'm hoping this doesn't get out of hand. But there's a few things I'd like to point out.

1. This is a promo video for my performance, which at least so far I've only done to non-juggling audiences. So, I don't think this is exactly the best place to be showing off new tricks.
2. Ben you're entitled to your opinion, but every single one of the 1d tricks (apart from the vertax genocide) are my own creations. Now I know they might not all be new, but I did create them on my own. I'm pretty sure each sequence in the longer 1d combos have been done before, but I don't really care, I created all of them from scratch and if they're not new then they're not.
3. I haven't practiced 2d for over a year as it doesn't interest me as much as 1d. But again this is a promo video for a performance I'm doing for non-jugglers, so why wouldn't I include the boring old 2d stuff?
4. I've got new tricks up my sleeve, but I feel that including them here would be wrong, because I'm not doing them in my performance.

I'm sorry if this isn't a video for you, but could we maybe take this discussion somewhere else?

Back on topic:

Thank you all for your kind comments.

Ben, hopefully you don't get my previous comment wrong, I'm not offended at all by what you said.  :)

The Void, damn you why did you have to see that and why did you tell it to everyone!?  ;) I seriously didn't notice that blur before.

Crackers, haha glad you like it it's one of my favorites.

mellowscholar, yep that's a threadless shirt. Love their shirts!

That was an awesome video, the way it was put together made me think it would be a great as a promo video, which conveniently enough, it is.
