anybody wanna suggest a camera?
« on: September 17, 2009, 01:51:07 am »
looking for a video camera to use in the future when making videos.
laptop camera is no good, i realize, but it's all i have at the moment.  My pal who juggles (balls and clubs) was going to make a video with me and we want to split the payment for a camera that has nice enough quality for a video.
looking for one around 100-200 dollars, the cheaper the better, although i don't want to buy a piece of crap.
all i can really specify is the price... i'm sure many people on here can think up a good camera to post a link about.
thanks

I'm using a JVC Everio digital video camera. It costs from about $400-$450,
but it's really good quality. I made my IJA 2009 vid with it. Check it out on YouTube and see the quality. It's called "IJA 2009 'Highlights and Xtreme" Feel free to leave a comment.

but once again I'm looking for a cheap camera...

i use a flip video thing. the quality is ok, not the best though, but the objects are not blurry so the fps is good. do NOT use the software it comes with. there are alot of wierd things in place so you can only use it, but imovie works so i'm sure you can find other software.

I myself use this one: Fuji Finepix F100 FD. It's a digital camera but I really like it: you can check the quality here, in one of my juggling videos:

Casual Control

Hope this has helped you.

I bought it half a year a go for 180 euros. Will be cheaper by now.

I ask the same question...... but I'm looking for digital cameras.

What models would you recommend? Cannon, Sony, Kodak, Polaroid? (I want one at a normal price and a lil better than average quality)

Have you ever seen the light?
