dude. get the 255g ones. they look the best, and they put less strain on your arms. also they are easier to customise in terms of light kits than the 290g ones. :)
Do what you want, because the people that care, don't matter, and the people that matter, don't care :)

Although I have the 290 ones, and I like them very much, it's all a matter of preference and what you are comfortable with. I think if you're 13 you might want to go for the 255 or 275 ones.

haha that's pretty funny! I've bought some 275g ones and I think they are one of the best diabolos i've ever played with. So we've got 3 posts and 3 different opinions, but in terms of your age, I totally agree with NiekG!

The age doesnt mind, you can choose what you prefer.I´d buy a 255gr cos i have taibolo and i think this weight is my "weight".Maybe 275,but;IM SURe,I wouldnt buy a 295.But someone maybe say you that he/she uses it....

So...YOU CHOOSE! :-D

i have a 255 gram, but i really want a 275. ive played with one and it seems their weight is the best, not too light, not to heavy.

You'll get used to whatever you have. 275g seems to be the sweet spot for me. I like the feeling of lighter Suns, but I find I start noticeably losing some stability at slow speeds in high patterns.

For maximal stability you want as high a proportion of the weight away from the axle and the least around the axle as possible. Heavy cups with light washers (and perhaps axle) seems to satisfy that the best.

Marijn you're right! didn't know where my head was at that time :D but they could weigh less if i used plastic washers..!

I use the 275g version myself - the thicker cups just feel way more solid and spin longer.  You can add the black axle as well to get 260g
