Problem with the Taibolo
« on: June 07, 2010, 03:54:44 am »
I have 2 V1 Taibolos, I've had them for a while now and they've been fine until recently. I'll be playing with them, and one of them just falls apart. It's happened a few times now. I've put it back together and it works fine for a couple days, then I hear the sound of either the hubs spinning wrong, or the washers getting loose. So if I can stop it in time I can tighten it up and then I'm good to go for a while. I searched around here and couldn't find anything like this with this version. I saw someone had the same problem but it was with a Glary I think. So any help on what I could do, or what I need to buy would be greatly appreciated.

The problem and solution is the same with pretty much any diabolo. A little thread tape would do wonders. Even a bit of a plastic bag stretched over the threads. There are also glues you could use but some may be more permanent than you want.
