MB Evolution Kit 1 or Evolution Kit 7?
« on: August 02, 2010, 09:30:34 pm »
Hello guys its me again, im in los angeles and have to get something fast because my sundia fly just cracked.  :'( I can either get a evo kit 1 (finger grinds) or evo kit 7 (freestyle). I heard somewhere that #7 was good for finger grinds. Can you do the same tricks? If you have had any good/bad expirences with either plz tell me.  :-D  Thanks a bunch -NotSoNoobie

I got three pairs of both, and its not really working out great for me.
The evo 7 kits helps my fingergrinds a little, but i got evo 1 on as well, but if i were only to use evo 7 they would have been better due to its shape.
My evo 7 and evo 1 wont fit real good, because the axle wont get really into the hubs, like they did with my old black standard hubs, so they have to be tightened a couple of times a day.
I'm not sure if that's just an error i got, or something other people got too?

I prefer the evo 1, but that is a matter of taste.
Some love wide-axles, some don't.
If you are going to visit the store you could try out both and see what suits you?
Good luck on your choice.

i'm very pleased with the evo 7, don't know why somebody should mix them up?

evo 7 is more like a newer hub-system, it's not created for making really long finger grinds or other tricks like that, it's a lot like a normal finesse, but better :)

If you aim at grinding on your fingers most of the time, you're better off with evo 1..

there's no such thing as a unique diabolo that is especially good for beginners or learning 2d, every diabolo in the upper price area is good enough.

Not really. But evo1 might make 2 and 3 diabolos slightly harder to learn
