Yes, I'll upload it to juggling.tv but it'll still take a while. You got to wait for that, sorry.

Thanks for putting this together, Lucas. It looks great. I enjoyed the person sliding on the ice the most.

I only have one downside: being included in a video with so many kids makes me feel really, really old and out of practice :P

Insane!
Highlights for me are:
- Etienne and Robin (of course)
- Wis's fancy whip catch
- Duncan's 3d trick
- Clement's 2d trick (I'd kill to see a smoother version of it though  :P)

Thanks to everyone who made this possible.

Great, it's here! The skill level is so high this year! Lots of diabolo + other juggling prop combinations as well. Interesting to see a trend like this emerging. I like how the number of Asian and South American contributors is higher than usual. As for tricks: I'm a huge Jarle fan! I also really liked Wis' whipcatch, it made me smile. :)

Very glad that some of you enjoyed the whip :)
Outstanding video, I agree with every highlight mentioned till now, but to add some extra: trick by Max around 12, the 2d thing by Martin (although it is hard to see the string), the mountain of kids doing 3d low is lovely (look for the left handed!), Tino's crazy 3d transfer, the routine by Aires at 13:45, and the very last 2d minigenocide.
Great editing and tricks Lucas!

I suspect it's not on JTV yet because Lucas wants the YouTube views. (If that's not the case, Lucas - I can get it onto JTV for you, in your account, very quickly, if you like. Let me know.)

And Ceri-anne, you can always download it from youtube using, for example jdownloader. I even prefer this since original files are way too heavy without noticeable improvement in quality

06:38 how do you get into that start? Out of the 4D starts I've seen that one looks the smoothest.

A bit late to this but obviously the video is cracking. Awesome work by everyone involved. Also happy to see the amount of people from Malaysia getting involved internationally.

Honestly I might announce that I am actually learning this start as my new 4D start, I started learning it on Monday and this video was my first attempts:
4D new start attempts (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GboPRgLPxB4#ws)

They are very crap, I know but they are my first ones and I am much better now.
DO NOT TAKE THIS VIDEO AS A TUTORIAL!!!
I do one fatal flaw which is that I swing the left diab at the same time as I release the hover start whereas it should be a bit after.

Also sorry for the music, I just threw in whatever I had because this video was never meant to go public  ;)

Ah well thank you very much for posting it because it contained all the info I needed. I just didn't get how you got the 2D shuffle going properly from the stall while keeing the left grab. Figured the normal 3D stall was used the whole time. It's possible to do the left grab immediately from a 3D shuffle ofc but that's kinda difficult at least for me and doing it open would be difficult as well avoiding collision with the left. Never dawned on me to use the stopover to power into it.

Thanks again and sorry everyone if I managed to veer slightly offtopic with the question here.

Hey Ceri-Anne and The void!

Sorry, I completely forget about it.

Yes, I do want more views on youtube, but in this case I think that if there's more people watching it, better!

I'm uploading it to vimeo and juggling.tv right now!

Sorry for the delay!
=)
Title: Re: Diabolo.ca Collaboration video 2012 - Watch it!

Actually, just noticed that juggling.tv has a max file size of 400MB
and vimeo 500MB

- The collab has 800MB.

I don't really want to downconvert this just to post in other platforms, do you really think it's necessary. Losing quality isn't a thing that I'd appreciate.

Also, you can download it from youtube using sites like keepvid.

=)

It's worth a try.
