Hey Folks!

The German Diabolo-Community "diabolotreff.de" released its' first Collaboration Video! It features 30 different diaboloists from Germany and also two guys from Austria and Italy.

Enough said, here it is!

Juggling.tv - Greetings from Germany – diabolotreff.de Collaboration Video 09 (http://juggling.tv/video/2384/greetings-from-germany-diabolotreffde-collaboration-video-09#id=http://juggling.tv/nuevo/econfig.php?key=ffac311592613b7f71fb) (140MB, mp4)

Hopefully you are able to read what's written on the letter  :-D

Here (http://rapidshare.com/files/243300918/greetings_from_germany.mp4) you can find the HQ-Rapidshare Download because the download from juggling.tv doesn't work

That was amazing! Loved every second. It's great to see such a high level of skill throughout. The editing was also brilliant. Highlights for me:

Sergej's body combo at 3:45 - Veeery nice, fluid and creative.
Olf at 9:27 - Thought this was a nice idea.
And Dirk at 4:38, 6:40 and 8:24 - Each clip got better and better. Really creative and technical, yet still with great flow.

Looking forward to next years!

Rapidshare upload is running. I think it's because of the new j.tv update. You're not the only one with this problem ;)

EDIT: Upload complete, Here it is! (http://rapidshare.com/files/243300918/greetings_from_germany.mp4)

Very kewl video, full of awesomeness, for me Sergej's 531 or 6420 variation stood out for me. Anyone want to argue about the correct notation? It's at 2.07 in the video. Anyway, it's a ****ing awesome siteswap. Can't believe I'm not practicing that throw anymore. I will from tomorrow again!!

off topic

---Sergej's 531 or 6420 variation stood out for me. Anyone want to argue about the correct notation?

Yes that trick was way cool.

I used to think the behind the back throw as 20, since it is a throw and then empty string for a short moment. But doing 2 that way in siteswap like 42 would be ridiculously hard (not impossible) so it might make more sense thinking it as one move/trick which would be 1 in siteswap. Both 6420 and 531 are valid descriptions of the trick, I'd use 531 since it's more simple.

Man... Sergej, that suicide in the body combo is a big trick. Congratulations.
Really enjoyed the video from the start to the very end. Awesome work guys  :)

4:52 = best shot ever
Also liked Dirk's 2d combo, Olf's handgrinds, Scrat's sequence and Pascal's style.

d'awwww, bless 'em, they love us! I shall give them a hug if I ever meet them :D

the video was absolutely stunning, I had to pick my jaw of the ground several times, then just gave up cause it wouldn't stop! 3:40 was particularly a highlight for me... the creativity and technical wanders involved in the whole vid is just brill! One of the best diabolo video's I've seen! :)

I believe we need to reply :P
