Title: Sundia Fly questions.
Post by: Tipper on November 21, 2009, 10:00:50 AM
Okay now, Christmas is on its way and I'm thinking about wishing me a Fly. The only problem is, I have some doubts on it.

What happens with tricks like mini-gens and integrals and so on? Will they work or doesn't it make a difference?

-Tipper (:

yes, it can work. It will help you alot to learn integrals to start use bearings, and fly is a very good choice. But the cups can break, and the axle can **** up. But they are extremely good when they work!  :-X

no. integrals are much harder to do with bearings

Agreed, integrals are alot harder on bearings. It can open up new integrals that are impossible on fixed axle. But standard integrals are alot harder i find as you cant feel the grip of the axle.

ahh thanks dodson. (; so, tricks that rely on spin-direction is kinda hard to do on a bearing-diabolo right?

I would trust Elkku a little more. I believe he has gone trough every single integral there can be and will be.

I agree.

you want to make sure your genocides/integrals/any stick release stuff is smooth enough on fixed axles. because i learned genocides on bearings and it took a while because the stick would just fly around the axle over and over and is hard to catch

y get a fly?if you want a bearing diabolo, go with the sundia triple bearing shining diabolo. my first diabolo was a fly, and i found that bearings limit you alot, but also makes many tricks easier(not including integrals).

bums3n: --> Cups can break <--
What how did you BREAK the cups?! I'm playing fly's since 1 year (with fixed axle) and would not commend it but they are best diabolos for slacks and string tricks, Vertax, and Body combos. But Integrals are awful to do with ( particulary with bearings) your style will also be awful if you learn integrals with them !!! Also if you are very agressiv (like me) WATCH OUT dont throw this diabolos on the floor the axles can bend and THEN you can't play it anymore...

not for me too !! I do all the integral I know for the moment, and it's as easier to do integral with bearing as do integral with fixed axle...

Then you aren't doing hard integrals...

of course it is possible to do integrals with bearings, but you can't do them smooooth and slow with them!
