What an elegant and colourful video! I liked the creative shots from below and the nice colours in practically all the shots. Well done, great video! :)

I liked it, but some of the shots were kinda bad in that the action wasn't understandable at all.

Nice video but i agree with Marijn that the camera angles were really strange.

Nice video but i agree with Marijn that the camera angles were really strange.

Well, strange isn't a problem (usually it's cool) but it has to have a function.

Thanks for front-paging !!
And what the camera perspectives belongs, i thaught "hey these tricks aren't new and so show them at least in a nice/strange/new perspective and so i did (in fact, when i edited the video i noticed that it cloud be weird to watch but, hey, did you ever seen a antisuicide combo filmed like that ^^ ?

I think It's a bit exagerate to make a frontpage of this video ... There are some effort but most of the tricks are not very new and the filming is a bit disturbing ( we can't see some tricks ) Its of course just my opinion...

I thought the different camera angles were awesome. Why's everybody hating on a new idea.
There was some cool unique tricks, and even if they weren't then at least you had an artsy shot to see the trick in a new way.
It was a visually pleasing video so even people who don't pay so much attention to the tricks will still like the video.
Well done

Yeah there were some angles that probably didn't work out as well as Tobi hoped but (1) he's experimenting and trying something different, (2) a lot of them worked well, (3) for the most part he got the contrast, colours, and exposure spot on, (4) he selectively cut it down to a reasonable length, (5) since when does everything have to be new?

For the record there have been lots of awesome videos over the last couple months that haven't got front paged because I'm been busy finishing my thesis and lots of others that I'm sure were awesome but I didn't even get the chance to watch. I'm catching up slowly. If anyone would like to write for the blog I'd be extremely grateful.

I think the disturbing angles are used to film well known tricks, and so it´s not needed to see them in the whole execution.

Sean said it well.  The videography is great, and provides a lot of good ideas on how to well frame a diabolo video. Well done Tobi.

I might have fuelled some confusion; I did like this video a thousand times more than ''normal'' videos without ''progessive'' videography. All I tried to say was that it didn't work out that well in some places. Overall it was still nice and it contains some lovely shots.
