I've never performanced, so I can't compare, but earning 50 euros in 15 minutes doesn't sound like little money :o.

Could you explain how to do that stick grind release? I don't really understand, but it sounds cool.

I'm New / Re: Hello, I'm new

Firstly: Welcome.
About your problems: in the beginning chinese acceleration (if that's what you're talking about?) can be quite difficult. I as well had a lot of wrapping up, but this will change if you keep practising. As far as I know, a Finesse is a diabolo with great stability. So I think you either give the diabolo very little spin (so just accelerate more to change this), or you do something wrong when practising the trick (keep practising and it may get better). And about the speed: when the diabolo is completely clean, it may indeed be quite hard to see whether the diabolo has enough speed. But when you've done more diabolo, you'll get a certain feeling for it, so don't worry. Also, when you've used your diabolo a lot, filth carved into the cups will make it easier to make out the speed. ;)
Good luck.

That was absolutely fantastic! :o Amazing combo's, and I also really liked the editing of the part in which you throw the diabolo on and on to yourself.

General / Re: Learning faster.
« on: September 05, 2007, 08:50:39 PM »
In addition I'd advice you to search the internet for different vids (tutorials are very handy of course, but "normal" vids are useful as well) of the trick in case. For example, when I was practising infinite suicides, I really didn't know why it didn't work, but after having watched Tim Ellis's tutorial I knew what I had to change, and sticked the trick one hour later. If I hadn't watched this video, it would have taken me much more time for sure to learn infinite suicides. So comparing your own way of doing the trick to the way other people do it can be very useful.

Nice trick, practised it some weeks ago, but I thought it's an overcide? Then what's an overcide? Sorry for going offtopic, but I don't think it's necessary to start a new topic.

I finally made it 8). Thanks for your help, guys. I kept on wasting the trick, and suddenly found out that I wanted the string to double-wrap the diabolo. Hadn't seen that the diabolo was already wrapped (so I didn't catch the stick at that moment), obvious that the diabolo lost a lot of speed with that double-wrap-****. When I finally knew what I did wrong, I tried it the right way, and I've got them quite solid now. Yay.

I just got back from vacation. Done a lot of diabolo, made some progress. Two things I'm proud of: continuous minigens and vertax genocides (finally).
