Actually i just did this today with my sudia's. lol. Since i was just messing around a couple of times outside during the winter, i cracked the cup. This at least makes the diabolo usable again.

We had a diabolo/Chinese yoyo performance for our Chinese School's Chinese New Year performance.it's not our best performance, but there it is. during the light show part, the person on the right was supposed to do fan but someone took the wrong diabolo and he didn't have a diabolo. =x http://www.youtube.com/v/mS3k_6_8Y0M&hl

I live in new jersey and just practicing in 32 degree weather with sundia spins= worst idea ever. my little yoyo crew-we're practicing for an upcoming performance-we've broken so many cups for our spins that it's became ridiculous and we stopped practicing. i guess the sunda spin cups are just more fragile compared to henrys/tais-b/c i noticed the sundia cups were harder as opposed to the softer henry/tai cups.

That light kit tooks very similar to a light kit i have to another diabolo that I don't use because the diabolo itself is terrible. It's just two cups and a brass axle. But, the lights are so nice. I think they're probably LED lights.

If you buy directly from someone like Angela, whose in charge of Gong-Qun's international business, you can probably get one taibolor for about $20-25 USD.

That www.diabolo-at.com site: Can you order straight from the site, or do you have to ring or email them? (Google's translation isnt great. "Safety Bell" diabolo WTH is a safety bell diabolo!!!!)
I've tried ordering from them. Your probably better off emailing them or calling them. Now if you call them, I'm not sure, but a chinese man may pick up, because he is the guy that is at their retail store in Taiwan. So i'de say just try emailing. The thing is that, what is really gonna kill you is shipping these things. International shipping is not exactly cheap. One time, I wanted to buy 20 taibolos and sell them to friend and other people and the shipping would cost $77 usd. If you were to buy less, I'm not sure if it's going to be less, but it's probably going to be like at least $20+ for 2-3. just an estimate

Actually they are $25 USD in Taiwan. Because they are 800 TWD(Taiwan Dollars) and thats about $25 USD. I'm actually Taiwanese. I got my friend to buy me two, i just need one more. And luckily, I found someone who is willing to sell me a new Taibolo for $35 that he brought from Taiwan.

$30. A boy can imagine, no?
haha. $30 would be nice. Then it's only $35 w/ shipping. Lets just hope.

they're probably waiting on the new Taibolos
haha, hopefully. I have 2 new ones and I need one more, so I'm hoping they're the new ones. Theres no way they're going to sell them at $25. It's already $25 just buying them at Taiwan. Shipping to Cali costs money too you know. So they would technically either be losing money or making no profit at all.

The site is American. It's located in California. I actually emailed Jugglingstore.com July 24th and I got a response. From that date, July 24th, they said they should receive them in 2-3 weeks. It's already been 2 weeks and I hope they come soon. But they said they're not sure what the price is going to be yet. But, I'm sure it'll be in the $40-50 range.

I've heard about his hubs, but the thing is that I live in the United States and it will require international shipping.

Yeah the hubs are really banged up. Still kind of confused why they would put a Jazz axle in the circus. I just prefer the wider axle because it seems a little more forgiving and tends to decrease the chances of the diabolo wraping up on my string. I was considering getting the all around tuning kit, but it's $27 each. Then it'll be $71 for 3 tuning kits. I already bought 2 Taibolos from my friend coming back from Taiwan and I'll probably buy another Taibolo when they arrive at JuggligStore.com.

So I was just looking at my circus' today that I got about last August from renegadejuggling.com. I noticed that out of my 3, 1 of them had a thinner axle. Here are some pics: ^^thin one of the 3 Is the top the stock axle or is the bottom. I really have no clue what happened when I ordered this, I don't know why the axle is different. ???Is there any place where I can buy an axle like the one on the bottom photo? I personally don't feel like purchasing a $27 kit for an axle. Plus, i was looking at the plastic hubs for the Circus'. Are there any US vendors that jsut sell the plastic teflon hubs? Otherwise I'll just wait for jugglingstore to get the taibolos in and I'll buy another on of those to have 3.

I think i have the timing down. Now it's just when I unwrap, the diabolo I unwrap gets out of line nd falls out of the shuffle. Sometimes I'll have 2 diabolos come out. What do you suggest I do to prevent this? Should I try something with my left hand?

I found this pretty useful because I'm still learning 3D right now. I liked the last part where it showed your possible mistakes b/c i had 2/3 of them. On the wrap open start I may sometimes unwrap at the wrong time. Then for the hover, I stop trying because the 2D kept collapsing even though I did what you guys told me. But I saw in the video that I was probably pulling too short. I'm used to doing it that way for 2D so it carried over. So I'll have to try pulling longer. Thanks for the video!
