hey Tim, thx for the answer the thing with stick release is that it doesn't translate well, at least not to portuguese. small/big and mini/maxi are terminologies that are usefull and easy to implement imo.

Hey folks, how is it going? for those who don't know me my name is Lucas, I'm from Brazil and for the past 8 years I've been posting videos on Malabarize-se, an youtube channel, including tons of diabolo tutorials. after thinking a lot about this question I decided to bring this idea for the community. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0KmXp7mo_0Let's be fair. suicide and genocide are really bad names for diabolo tricks. if you teach kids or people who tried to suicide you see that this is not so easy to use and can push some people from practicing or scary some others. specially out of context. in the video I explain better (it has english subs) but the idea is to start to call suicides: FLIPS and genocides: AROUND THE WORLD from now on. I'm already using this terminology on my diabolo new videos. what do you think? would love to hear your comments on that. best wishes.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tn6fF27xs1kThere's new video on Malabarize-se! Imagine a place where you can practice juggling and dance for free and meet high-level artists from all over the world: this place exists! The 104 is one of the most amazing places I've ever had the opportunity to visit. A huge and accessible space in Paris, which brings together jugglers, circus people, dancers and movers to train, rehearse and experiment. If you're going through the city it's worth checking it out! It's at Rue curial, 5, open from Tuesday to Sunday from 12 am to 19 pm. Amazing Jugglers have been there!

Every now and then. Only because I want to try new models (even though I don't practice like before so it has been a while) because I'm pretty much "stuck" with diabigs, they're not made anymore (I have broken a couple granted that was the Yoho braned ones), and there are no other diabolists near me to borrow props to try from. It's effectively "buy to try"...
Is it good?
if the diabolo is good now? probably. I gave to a friend. if it was a good brand to use? not the best, but good enough to learn

(as usual: likes and comments are always appreciated and help a lot for the videos to get more traction on the channel! thanks for the support)

once a car drove over my mb finesse and it was perfectly fine. diabolos are pretty much imortal
once a car hit one of my diabolo capeta (a brazilian brand) and it got really ****ed up... bent and unstable when spinning, but these have thinner cups than henrys. anyways: you're right. usually diabolos are quite immortal. remember: it's plastic: no need to buy more if you're not juggling more than this number. (having different diabolos for practices or for stage may be fine imo, though)

Hi, These are Henri Kangas and Arvi yrjölä. This act is based on things discovered though improvisation. I liked it a lot and laughed a lot.
These two guys are not only talented but very nice people. One of the highlights of this EJC for sure!
was coming here to comment their names, we're already in contact. definitely it was an amazing open stage act!!!

like: never.
bought my circus more than 7 years ago and still have them working perfectly fine... I don't use it as much as the hardcore jugglers here but even if you juggle a lot I believe you can keep your props for a long time.. unless a car hits it or something...
