Tricks / Re: 3 diabolo shuffle: help! (wrap start & asynch shuffle)
« on: June 08, 2009, 04:57:27 AM »
Thanks for your advice again, Sean. :)
Whatever your right hand does for 2 diabolos. Just follow each diabolo down a bit as it arrives on the right. If you want to do a right hand only shuffle it requires a different aggressive motion with the right hand, but don't worry about that for now.
Yes, i know i should not worry about that for now, because i still can't make every diabolo arrive on the right solid, maybe that's what i should worry about...

Thanks a lot, Janion. :)
You have to use both hands. At the moment, you are only using your left, try to concentrate on using both hands...that's the hard part.

Janion
But i've heard some people said that you can have 20~30 otts by only using your left hand, then you move on to use both of your hands. I don't know what i heard is true or not... So from now on i should focus on both of my hands?

Thanks Hector 641 and Diabolo Dodson . I'll listen your advice. But i find that it's hard for me to unwrap with a smaller force or  a lower, smoother more relaxed style, i don't know the reason~ maybe i need more practice~

hi, Dennis. I think you can visit Martijn's great website:http://www.circusplanet.net/ and you can find this useful video:http://www.circuspla.net/diabolo/video/2d/fans/cfan_left.mpg
Martijn shows three ways to do c fan. I learn how to do c-fan by watching this video.

Tricks / Re: 2d Duicides
« on: December 29, 2008, 01:26:33 AM »
Thanks for you guys' help and replies. :)
Are you talking about the mixed sprinkler one where both sticks fly in opposite directions, or a classic. duicide from a sprinkler
I think i'm talking about the mixed sprinkler one where both sticks fly in opposite directions, because i've only seen this one. Can i ask you a question? what is a classic duicide from a sprinkler?
i think green is talking about the mixed one! you have to experiment with different sprinklerwraps so that they open in mid-air. Most people prefer to start with a Right-Backwrap-Sprinkler and do a Left-Backwrap-Sprinkler afterwards.. Throw the Sticks in different directions and tadaaa!
One of the secrets is that you keep the wrap of the Sprinkler as big as you can so that the Diabs can hold their speed easily.. Another one is that you time your Wraps, so that the trick doesn't take to much time!

You just have to get the knack, then it's not difficult at all :P
Thank you for telling me the secrets, mo3. :)

i did that tricks (mixed duicde or what ever its called, i call it "double stick relese") in 0:53
twice a row,
wow, you did this trick very well.

Sorry to bump in an old thread, but i really want to know something about the double sprinkler duicide... Is there a specific way to do double sprinkler duicide? I can catch it about 10~15 times if i have a good day, but most of the time the sticks just swing very fast and i can't even see them and they drop, and if i have a good day they come straight to me, i just can't do this trick sucessfully whenever i want...But i found that many people can to do it very well, like Mr.sprinkler's video, BJC montage video, busk's videos...etc
So could anyone please tell me some tips about this trick?
Thanks

Tricks / Re: Vertax Stall/Pose Move? (motorbike)
« on: December 19, 2008, 11:07:06 AM »
I´m so sorry, I explained it wrong to you. If you are right-handed the sticks will be in your left hand after the stopover so it is ofcourse your RIGHT indexfinger (the rest was correct). No wonder it got confusing.

You never swap any sticks, they stay in your left the whole time. To exit you lift it over your head, swing it round to the front, sun below and then the string is open.

Hope it is more clear now but a video is the best and easiest to follow. There is a really good one where I think Yao Wen is in and he shows this trick slowly to some girls. As normal I can´t find it though :embarassed:.

Thank you, Diabolo88. I'll use your method and try this trick again.

From a left stopover (if you are righthanded) you put both sticks together tight in the left hand. Not like you would for a whip, just both tightly together. From there you take your left indexfinger and stick it up through the string (like say you were flipping someone off but with your indexfinger if it makes sense?).

Now, you jump the diabolo to the backstring. Simultaneously you twist your indexfinger down and then up so you now have your knuckles facing forwards. With your left you bend the wrist slightly backwards (this is natural to do when you show off the trick so you will probably do it automatically).  This creates a small twist on the string so you need to pull tight to keep the diabolo. That´s it.

To exit, lift it over your head, drop it and swing around to the front, then do a lower sun with the left hand to untwist.

^It probably helps a lot to just put the diabolo on the floor or having someone hold it for you and then practice all the movements first slowly so you know exactly what to do once in excalibur. My explanations suck so check the other people describing it again if this didn´t make sense.
Thank you, Diabolo88.  :)
since i don't know the right way to do this trick before you tell me, so the way  i do this trick is by putting both of my sticks with my right hand, and hook the string with my left hand's index finger, and then i swap the sticks with my right hand to twist the string at the same time, then both my hands pull tight to keep the diabolo. to exit it, i just do a left sun to untwist the string. Is the way i do it correct? (because my way seem to be different from the video...)
becasue i found that this trick will lose a lot of the diabolo's speed, so i can last the vertax stall for only 2 or 3 seconds, but the guys in the videos seem to last it for a long time.

left stopover, gather both sticks, run finger down string and twist handsticks at the same time, no need for a wrap.
Can i ask a question? When you guys are doing this trick, how do you twist the string? sticks swapping with one hand or other ways? Any tips for this trick?
Thanks.

Tricks / Re: S-Fan corrections, stability, tips?
« on: September 05, 2008, 12:59:46 AM »
how do you start an S-fan?
is it the same as a normal AC-fan? then what do you do?
srry im a newbie with this kinda stuff.  ;D
I start s-fan by doing right arm stall. I think s-fan is not same as normal AC fan. here is a video i found on youtube, i learned s-fan by watching this video.I think you can find the differences from this video.
http://tw.youtube.com/watch?v=5wM6DlMWUGM

I tried s-fan with sundia string yesterday, but i still can't correct it, i decide to describe my problem more precisely. After i starn s-fan, the right side diablo's right cup just sinks, just like this:\ the left side diabolo's left cup sinks too, just like this:/ so i start to change my hand movement, but things just get worse...
Any tips for me?
Thanks.
