Why, hello there everyone!  Some of you may or may not know me, however, I'm looking for help at the moment. I thought I would make a beginners guide video type of thing, which would include ALL of the basic steps of "diaboloing". Such as, but not limited to: gathering speed, correcting and basic tricks. I've so far pretty much recorded all the ways of getting speed that I know of (I might leave out some extreme ones.). Correction is probably done too, but now onto the tricky trick part. Basic tricks include: Trapezes, waterfalls, grinders, grinds, around body parts, small suicides, minor combos and knots. And this is where y'all come in: Anything in particular you might want to see in a video such as this? Anything else I should include? And possibly if it should be made into one gigantic video, or perhaps a few smaller ones(divided by categories). Thanks and regards  / Fredrik EDIT: Even though I'm the one asking for it in this case, it's for all of the community. I really do believe in support and friendship and this is mostly why I have been making my tutorials in the past.

I love my Sundia Suns(290g) and I haven't used a better diabolo. I also have Finesses but they're simply not my thing. I think they're too light and unbalanced, though they're good for suicide tricks. However if I run 2 then I almost always use my Suns

I usually do an unfinished exit just so I can enter a fan easily. Thus I do it for more possibilities!

As well as slower/longer slow mo bits with pauses I'd also explain what you need to do with your second hand. It seems you need to move your hands together rather than the alternating movement a lot of stuff requires
Might be obvious for most but worth mentioning
Anyway great job I still need to learn slack tricks at some point as this will be very useful

Thanks for your reply! I think that on Youtube You'll be able to view the video in Slow-motion. I liked the Eiffel Tower tutorial part best

I would say though, again, for more complicated or technical tricks, a slow-motion would be super helpful.
Thanks! I added some slow-motion for some parts as I didn't think you needed more. And that it's good to see how fast you should move your stick.

i agree that the j whip is fairly basic, but the c whip took me a lot longer than it should because all i was doing was moving my sticktip in circles. I also think that the trash's web explanation seemed kind of rushed in the video, but it can always be rewound.
I had kind of a hard time doing the instructions. For the C-Whip I didn't really know how to explain it. And I had no idea how to explain a Trash's Web. And I haven't seen a good explanation either. Therefore I did how I did it, I might add some annotations if needed. Thanks!

more commentary on the form would've been good. showing the entire whip motion in slow motion would be good to help those learning exactly how they should be moving their arms/hands/etc.
True. However this trick is pretty basic imo therefore I didn't make the tutorial so advanced. On my coming tutorials I'll put a lot more effort into the, umm, text/voice parts. Thanks for your reply

Do you know how to do integral suicides, and maybe integral infinites?
I'd love an in depth tutorial on how to do integrals.
That particular one might be a pain for me.. But I'm trying to get into integrals more and more so I'll have to think about that one What I would love to have you make is:
The complete beginner one. And what I would love to do is dub your voiceovers into Finnish. We have loads of new people (mostly young) who don't yet understand english and therefore most often don't get as much out from tutorials as they would normally.Another good one would be the 2d corrections one. People tend to ask that a lot.
If you're interested getting your voice-overs dubbed just talk to me. I would love to help you get most out of your tutorials. I'm not that interested to have my own face in videos. Good quality tutorials are for common use.
Now that's interesting! Actually a really good idea. It's true what you say that Finland has a lot of young diaboloers, or whatever, jugglers. When I finish editing my current project I'll come back to you about that one. And does anyone know, IF it's possible to get a sticky for your tutorials, maybe not all of them, but just the best ones. I'm thinking of making like a tutorial library for easier access. If anyone knows what I mean Edit: Just learned how to double quote, sorry about that before.

I'd love to see some tutorials for body combos. Trying to steal other peoples' from their videos is a bit arduous, since few of the videos are of high enough quality to see the details very well. I'd also like to see a really thorough and useful 2D start tutorial that covers several basic starts: gathering that from text or from quick demonstrations without thorough explanations is a pain the tuchus.
I'll see if I can work out some sweet body combos I really like the idea of making a BIG guide on starts, where I'll include all I know of. Added to my To-Do list
