can we have the usual few extra days? a lot of us forgot about the deadline haha

a year is not to long to practice three diabolos. most people take 1-3 years to learn it.
i think what helps most is learning the hover start. the hover accelerates the third diabolo to a point where it has the same speed as the other two, this will help a lot with the shuffle.
feel free to film yourself and post a few tries here, it's easier to help you if we can see what you are doing.

super nice! thanks for participating everyone! <3

Please add few days.
We can add 2 more weeks for you to send me some clips. [...]

There was a video by Etienne about 2-3 years ago which he both reversed and mirrored in editing.

do you know where to find that video? i've been looking for it since a while already

of course these should be as much on the list as the hand throw mentioned by arjan.

Tricks / Re: Must learn beginner tricks?

1. trapeze
2. inverse trapeze/magic knot
3. high throws
4. elevator
5. (mini-)genocides
6. suicides & infinite suicide
7. orbits (arm/leg/foot/...)
8. 2 diabolos
9. grinds
10. vertax

i feel like these give you great opportunity to learn from there on. if you can do these you already have so many possible combinations, and worlds of tricks that follow the idea of the basic trick that you can explore.

absolutely mental. pen is crazy good haha

flip and around the world is quite far from the terminology we're used to.
i just say mini-gen or geno when talking with people who don't know the diabolo language so well.
suicide is a fair name just judging by the stick shooting towards you, i can see that. never thought that one should be changed haha but of course you also have a valid point with this one.

Gear / Re: Sundia evo, hard or soft cups?
« on: March 06, 2020, 03:45:37 PM »
G2 soft cup > everything

i prefer the G2 over the G3, because i love soft cups and G3 are 99% hard cups.
soft cups don't break as fast and hurt way less. i've tried hard cups but switched back pretty fast.
