Circular eli's are actually pretty easy with diabolo. The object is much bigger so it's so much easier to catch.  With sticks it gets little harder since you start to loose the feeling of it....

i meant circular eli hops with long diabolo string. i almost hit my head the other day doing it :P

I think that Sundia only makes carbon fiber handsticks. They probably have the largest variety of colors and patterns in handsticks. If you like the Henry's Aluminums then try the colored Babache xtremes. Obviously, personal preference determines what looks good. To me, looks alone wouldn't justify upgrading from my Henry's Aluminums as I am quite satisfied with them.

well heres the sundia aluminum:

and these arent carbons either:(and they look nice in the dark)

well i change my string every week
or sometimes faster
it depends on what you're doing and how much you practice

I'm New / Re: Chinese Yoyo Vs. Diabolo?

my first diabolo was a fly, then a sundia shining 3x. When i got my first sun, i had to re learn almost all my tricks, where my friend who started on a fixed axel had no problem with bearings.

You should remember that Offstring Yoyos tend to have a bearing in with a response system. Henry's Micro will be harder to use.

all off string have bearings since you cant speed them up, but some, such as aquarius, have no response since they want longer spin time and unresponsive play. tight gap would make it bind too.

i saw the video markos made on the yoyo inspired tricks, and i went and got really good at yoyo(not really, but im progressing). anyway, i just now found offstring yoyos and i borrowed one from my friend. after a couple minutes with it, i found it was quite similar to diabolo, does anyone else offstring here? and is anybody good enough to know wether you can do magic knot,2d, or any otherdiabolo trick?

Tricks / Re: Yo-yo tricks with diabolo

Why is nobody walking the dog..?
cuz its almost useless? it just slows the diabolo down. if youre talkin about yoyo, its cuz it damages the yoyo, causes dings, and ruins it.

flys with bearings are a lot harder
flys with fixed axels dont make much of a difference, ryo yabe uses fixed

General / Re: Your worst moment in diaboloing
« on: December 18, 2009, 02:10:11 AM »
Yesterday i foolishly did an integral inside and smashed a light bulb.
My mum then told me i can only diabolo in the conservatory and my room.
Today i noticed pink markings on the wall in my room from my sundia fly.
My last option was the conservatory, so i go in, get 2d going do a 2d mini-genocide and the string gets caught on the string dangling from the fan. after i get my string down the light goes off and i can't reach the string to pull to turn the light on.

What great luck i've been having lately  :P

i just moved, so my dad wasnt happy with the dents i made int he wall, so now im only allowed to practice diabolo on the driveway(havent hit the cars yet)

3 red sundia suns 275g
3 red finesse g4
2 henrys black carbons
2 henrys white carbons
as many rolls of henrys yellow string i can fit in my room

but sadly this will never happen :(
(my parents say diabolo is waste of money, $1200 on laptop isnt)
