I'm New / Re: My first Diabolo?
« on: May 14, 2008, 02:28:37 PM »
trust me its worth the wait, i bought a cheap diabolo to start with and i regret it cause it just sits in a corner collecting dust now lol plus in my experience people who start on finesse seem to learn quicker.

For them old diabolos in the corner collecting dust, you can use them to put ya spare change in like i do! better than a jar.

ps i love my finnese G2's to bits  ;D

It was me that broke Jammy's first stick there. I was merely doing an infinite suicide run when the free stick hit the grass we were playing on and the handle end of the stick flew off!

All I can say is that I'm disappointed with Babache sticks.

cut the handle side tip off! then slide in some wooden dowl, then plug it up! works well!

when i have been down to my local park where we do are kiteboardin,we got abit bored when there was't enough wind for a crazy freestyle that we love so much,so we desided to get my mate lee to fly is kite while i let the diabolo go up the kite lines, then when it got to the end of the lines,(27metres) lee popped it off and i carried on playing!

Gear / Re: little bumps on finesse cups
« on: February 06, 2007, 02:25:06 PM »

Yep! Thats what I meant - the alignment markers - so much more eloquently put than "little bumps", but then I'm no literary giant ;) The instructions aren't exactly descriptive, hence my question. So far as I can tell my cups are aligned, but, what does rotating them do? stop twisting? wobble? tilt? I haven't seen any noticeable difference when rotating the cups out of alignment...

i can tell when my G2s are not aligned up,rotating them does nothing to them! you just have to tighten the cups up so that the 2 line face each other or 90degree or 180degrees to each other!

Gear / Re: diabolo with clown shoes

I'm thinking about purchasing some clown shoes, as they look like a heap of fun, and was wondering what they are like to diabolo in, say for over the leg tricks and things like that. Any more information or advice would be cool:)

people say i got big enough foot for a clown so i would need to buy any lol
