Community & Events / Diabolo workshops in Lausanne (Switzerland)
« on: April 27, 2014, 01:40:40 PM »
Hello, during the summer I organize diabolo workshops for kids and teenagers. The age category is from 9-12 years old and 12-18 years old. However, if adults are motivated to join, they are welcome. The workshops are open for all levels. As there are only a few students per teacher, we adapt our teaching to the needs of each student.

The workshops are 5 days long (3 hours per day). They take place in Lausanne (Switzerland). For people coming from far away, it is possible to camp in my garden. The main teaching is done in French, but I can translate in English or German.

Gear / Finesse G3: different color same weight?
« on: November 18, 2008, 05:50:31 PM »
Hi, this question might sound stupid, but I don't think it is. Does the finesse G3 ,that aren't the same color, weight the same?
I plane to buy 3 finesse (orange, pink and yellow), and I want to be sure that they are exactly the same weight. Once I bought 3 circus (2 with, and 1 red), the red was 20 gram heavier…

Tricks / Slow side mini genocide
« on: March 05, 2007, 03:00:45 PM »
Hi, I am working on the "slow side mini genocide" or "wrap mini genocide". I was wonderig if it is better to start it with a left wrap or with a right wrap. When I say start it, it means that I'm going to pull the string first with the left hand, then, for the second mini genocide, with the rignt hand...
I'm right handed.
I know that there are all ready a lot of topics about this trick, but I didn't found the answer of my question in it...

Tricks / 1D whip duicide to behind the back catch
« on: October 11, 2006, 09:48:45 PM »
Hi, I'm reading the topic of this forum since a while. I usualy didn't send messages, because I find the answers of my questions without posting, but this time I didn't  :'(
Well, I'm trying to make a 1d whip ducide to behind the back, and to have the diabolo FREE a the end of my trick. ( I read this topic : [tutorials + bonus] whip duicides, kicked miniGs and 8 rings , but it didn't help me...)
When I try to do the trick, I catch the diabolo on the left ( I'm a right handed) at this moment, the diabolo is free, there isn't any knot.
Then I do an impultion with my wrist to send my sticks behind my back. If I do it this way, there is a strange knot at the end. ( the knot is like a left + a right wrap)
If I do the impulsion whit all my fore arm, there isn't a knot a the end of the trick, but I have to run on right,to catch my sticks...

So do you have a solution to my problem?
