Tricks / Novelty/ Funny looking tricks

I was just wondering whether you had any ideas for tricks that look odd. I find they're useful to splitting up long combos, they also can get a good laugh from a crowd or audience adding a new aspect to your performance.

I have a few:

Milking the cow - you point the sticks vertically and grab the string then move the sticks up and down like 'milking a cow'. Goes great with a mooing noise

Windscreen wipers - similar to milking the cow, but twist the sticks left and right to make them look like 'windscreen wipers'. Add a screeching sound for added effect.

Cowboy/ Cowboy lasso - after doing a suicide attempt catching the string, rather than the stick and rotate it horizontally above the head, with a 'YEEHAW'.

Tricks / Eiffel Tower Help.

I'd like to know how to do an eiffel tower without having to do slack whips as I'm awful at them. I've seen one being done without a slack whip, can't remeber where. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Technical / Using eyetoy as camcorder/webcam

I never thought I'd be able to make any videos of my diaboloing skill , but I had an eyetoy camera but thought it wouldn't work on my computer, I was wrong. I searched on google and found this website http://www.iplayplaystation.com/eyetoy-as-webcam/ which then helped me to turn my unused eyetoy camera into a video capturing machine. Maybe now I'll post some videos

Community & Events / Does anybody live near Southwell, Nottingham

I know there's a dead topic about people living in or near Nottingham, but I was just wondering whether anybody lived near Southwell, I'm about 5 minutes away, preferably I liked to meet up with someone about my age, 13, but any age would be great.

Tricks / Coffee Grinder! Help

I'm trying to learn coffee grinder, it's a trick I've seem to have missed. I know it's very basic but I just seem to mess it up.

I first get into a left backside, that's all alright, I then get into the correct string configuration, right string over the left handstick, but then when I attempt to go 'around' the diabolo the sting wraps around the right handstick, leaving me no room to go around again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

General / Diabolo Games?

I was just wondering whether there were games you could play against yourself or others that you know or have a concept about. I've read the HORSE topic and that was great fun between my mates, I kicked their A$$, but we're getting bored and getting on to stuff like whipping races, where we lay the diabolo on its side and race it to a point just by whipping it but we usually end up whipping each other but it hurts as well .

Any suggestions would be great.
