Long time no see, D.ca!
After having mainly juggled for quite a lot of years now, and a surgery in my right wrist, I've still managed being booked to perform at a juggling convention. I was thinking it was time to buy new diabolos for the show, and of course I am looking at the evos.
The only thing I'm wondering is whether the hard or soft cups are the best? It seems that soft cops is a newer addition by Sundia but is it even better?
Cheers!

So sitting on the train home after a flight from Belfast, I figured I might as well do the old "High - Low - Goal - Crush - Bane" thingy.
Highs: - A great venue for the convention, and a great place to stay during closed hours - Stayed in Ireland for 5 days without experiencing rain even once - Met Graham and even got to jam with him a bit even though he was running around being an important organizer - Smoking close to a million cigarettes with Tim Schulze - Managed to not drown myself in Guinness and Buckfast completely - Improved on both my 7 balls and 4 diabolo hover start! - The whole freakin galla show - Meeting a lot of Irish diaboloists I had never heard about before
Lows: - Completely missed out on the sunday's games and fight night tournament due to sleeping late - Renegade ended too early for me to demonstrate my 30 minute routine of props taped together - Being asked about 40 times if I was performing in the galla show, but having to tell people that it was Tim who was performing
Goals: - Actually try to progress and get a bit of motivation to practice juggling and diabolo further... Check! - Don't drink myself into the state of not being able to juggle due to hangovers... Semicheck! - Attend a workshop... a very "devilstickdiaboloing at the same time" check! - Don't scare people away from being interested in the Danish Juggling Convention next year... Check?
Crushes: - The handsome German phenomenon that is Tim and his galla show act - Julian Sæthers 7 ball 7 up 360 and 9 ball flash on stage - Lewis Kennedy and Jon Peat passing... need I say more?
Bane: - The renegade ending so very very early due to the venue having to close down
All in all a fantastic convention, and I'll be happy to come to Ireland again sometime!

Hey guys. I figured I might as well make this video public, since it's some months old and my new video will be here soon. I actually find this a more comfortable way to start fts combos involving 1's. Dont mind the guy in the beginning... he was hit in the nuts by a passing club. FTS 2-1-2-3-Tipper

So the title pretty much says it all.
I'll be in Dublin from Monday till Friday next week, and would like to meet up with some other diaboloists or jugglers. I'm planning on going to a couple of juggling practices but I figured I could ask if there are even any Irish diaboloists?
Cheers from Denmark! -Tipper

Hey guys. I've been seeing a lot of 4 diabolo starts where people enter hover, without running 3 diabolos in one hand. My problem is just that I can't figure out how you get the 4th diabolo wrapped in your hand while running 3? (Kinda like Dixie's start) Can anybody upload a video of their method of starting 4, from starting the 1st diabolo to the 4 diabolo hover? Just a short clip -Tipper

Hey guys. My friend who's a photographer and video editor asked to do a video with me this summer. It's going to be my first proper video and I would just like to throw this picture out here as a little appetizer for what will be in the video.

So, I just got home from the Danish Juggling Convention 2013 and wanted to publish this to show that I've started practicing diabolo properly again. Came up with some cool stuff at the convention that you might see sometime if I ever get it filmed. Just want to prove that I'm not dead and can actually do a little 3d: DJC 2013 - FTS 3-2-1-2-3-Tipper

Hey guys. I might not be doing alot of diabolo anymore but I'll keep on annoying you. So, cleaning my room today I found 2 old pairs of used sticks. My Henrys Glassfiber sticks and my very old (from when I first started doing diabolo) pair of carbons from what I believe might be Mr. Babache. Anyway, the Mr. B sticks were rendered useless because of one of them breaking but, god knows why, I kept them anyways. I decided to be a little innovative and see what I could do with these 2 sets. I chose to take the handles from the Mr. B sticks which I really loved, and found out that they fit perfectly onto a pair of henry's carbon or glassfiber once youve taken off the foam grip. Took me an hour and some frustrating battles with the glue that binded the handles and the sticks, but it worked. To my surprise, these old hard inner "silicone-ish" tubings that separated the rubber grip from the carbon could fit perfectly. Also, you could fit any grip perfectly onto these tubings. I chose to keep the nostalgic rubber grip but the silicone grips from my xtremes fit perfectly and didnt slide at all. So heres the final result: 55 grams per stick, as big as a short henrys carbon, good grip and surprisingly good for slack. They flex a little but not too much, they weigh enough to make suicides look clean, they're threaded through the whole stick and looks like a regular pair of carbon sticks. What's not to love? Hope you enjoyed this and excuse me for my grammar. Its 00.11 on a monday night and im way too tired. -Tipper
