Community & Events / diaboloists in Vancouver?
« on: February 05, 2007, 01:40:55 AM »
Hey everyone,

Just wondering if there are any other diaboloists in Vancouver, Canada.  I'd love to find some to practice with.  Thanks,

Julian

Gear / Batteries for light kits
« on: March 17, 2005, 04:52:07 AM »
Does anyone know of a cheap place to buy the little batteries for the Finesse light kits?  I don't want to pay $5 a battery; that's $20 per diabolo.  Also, the batteries have "GPA 76" on them, but I couldn't find an exact match at the store.  I found ones with 76 and other letters printed on them, but not GPA 76.  What batteries do people use?  Thanks!

Tricks / problems backwrapping every pass
« on: November 14, 2004, 08:10:33 PM »
Ok, next question.  I've struggled for a while to backwrap to gain speed.  I can now backwrap every second diabolo, but still they seem to come so fast.  I have tried to backwrap every diabolo but there is no way I can keep up with them.  What is the key to backwrapping every one?  Oh so many questions to be answered.  Hope you guys don't get tired of me asking.  Thanks again,

Julian

Tricks / what's the trick to mini columns?
« on: November 14, 2004, 08:03:23 PM »
Hi everyone,

I've been working on mini columns for a while.  I can get a few columns and then the diabolos collide usually or I drop one.  I've been throwing a little higher than I see in videos to make it easier and hopefully I can bring them lower with practice.  Any tips or tricks to it??  Thanks,

Julian
