« on: January 09, 2011, 08:14:31 PM »
Hi diabolo freaks,

I just finished this clip to promote my street show based on the character of Diabolord.
The clip lasts 6 min but the show lasts 40min, and it has been filmed last summer in Aurillac, the International Street Theater Festival in France.
Nothing really new, I just have a lot of fun when I perform it.
Feel free to invite me performing it where you live :-) .

Hope you enjoy.

Performances / Just a 1 minute 3d run on Ieper stage (and some 4d)
« on: April 14, 2006, 03:11:54 PM »
Filmed at the convention of Ieper 2006 (Belgium) by Captain Buisson, here comes the end of my act at the gala show, in a 15m high hall (which is a pure happyness).

It's only a 1 minute 3 diabolos run with differents high/low tricks, and a qualified 4 diabolos run (10 catches)

Because I want good diabolists to come, please apologize me for promoting this :

From the 22th to the 26th of May 2006, the Katakomben Juggling School in Berlin (Germany) will host the first 5 days 2 diabolos workshop of ever, with Priam PIERRET (me).

Here is an extract of the information on the official website :

The 2 diabolos technique has been increasing very fast in the past few years, the concept of rhythm and siteswap theory have been introduced, and many new trick concepts have been developed, generating hundreds of new tricks .

After introducing the new concepts and terms, we will review the main families of tricks with 2 diabolos, and we will use creativity methods to extend these families.

The last day is dedicated to the learning methods of 3 diabolos (high, low, start, shuffle, tricks).

2pm - 6:30pm each day, €180 (inc. all day room use)

About Priam PIERRET:
Professionnal diabolist for few years with 2 cabaret acts, he directed "DIABOLOGY", the diabolo DVD made by the best french diabolists (The Mad French Posse). He creates dozens of tricks with 1 and 2 diabolos, and he was the first to use the siteswap theory applied to diabolo to creates many new 3 diabolos moves. As a computer science engineer, he developped DSSS, a diabolo siteswaps simulator, and he's teaching worshops across Europe since 2002. Priam placed 3rd to the WJF diabolo world championships in 2004, and he is now working on a long show for theaters.

And that's not all folks, the Berlin Juggling Convention (one of the best in Europe, considering that Berlin is the most juggling city of the world) starts the 25th of may until the the 28th, so you can combine long workshop + convention + discovering the wonderful city of Berlin (where there is a different juggling meeting every evening).

I really hope to have diabolists as good as possible, to go as far as we can. The language of the workshop is english spoken by a non native speaker, so it is understandable by all the non native english speakers of Europe. The school can also provides rooms for cheap. If you are interested, don't lose time to register since there a limit of 12 participants, and most of the workshops in the Katakomben are full.

Community & Events / [WJF] Jason says "WOW"
« on: January 04, 2005, 11:03:56 PM »
Because it's fun and important for diabolo in america, I just want to share the feedback from Jason Garfield, who discovered (like most american jugglers), during WJF what is diabolo today.
(this email was sent to Matt Hall, Ryo Yabe, and the MFP)
Hey guys,

So, I'm capturing all the diabolo footage right now and I'm nowhere
near being done and I am absolutely amazed. I can't believe or
understand how the **** you guys do this stuff and I'm sitting here
involuntarily dropping my jaw and making noises. My neighbors probably
think I'm playing gay porn but it's just unbelievable stuff. You guys
are great and I'm glad you all came. I'm starting to think about next
year and I hope you all will be able to come. You guys represented
diabolo at the highest level and I'm gonna edit this all together to
make people react the way that I am now - nonstop. Thank you all for
coming. I hope we'll do it again soon.

Thanks Jason !

Community & Events / [WJF] Who ?
« on: November 13, 2004, 09:25:39 AM »
Hi guys.

At the WJF convention ( ), from dec 16 to 22 :
- who is going to be there ?
- who is going to compete in diabolo ?

The competitors I already know : Matt Hall, Ryo Yabe, then 5 of us (Baptiste, Eric, Antonin, Trash and me).

I think we miss competitors, so if you plan to be there (like Sean), please compete, at least for fun, and maybe more.
