Hi,

just opened this topic to be sure that the date dosen't overlap with any other events. Till now, we know nothing more than the date, I'll edit this post as soon as I'll get some more information.

It'll take place somewhere around Hanover, Germany 3rd-6th January 2007.

We'd like to see you all there!

Each time I hit the submit button and even once when I tried to enter diabolo.ca/forum, this stuff (or similar for entering the forum - don't know)comes up:

i wanted to submit a reply and posted i thrice    into the i just learned thread, since there was this "DEBUG MODE" error thing coming up each time. so i went back and tried it again. could a mod or Sean please delete these two unnecessary posts?

Tricks / Contact diabolo

Hi everyone,

What contact diabolo moves or crazy kick-ups do you know? there's one of antonin i saw in ypres, he kicked the diabolo up (that sanwiched-between-the-feet-football-style kick-up) into the string which he let swing (like a suicide hand start)...

another one is the same kick-up into 2d of one of one of the guys in this video did...

the next one is in the trick of the week on jongle.net. "le blocage", where you catch it in the neck...
in the same thread, busk mentions another one, where you let it roll down the back and kick it up... I think it was a joke...but would be nice to see anyway...

and then therem are of course the two kick-ups in of baguettes & diabolos...

and some other stuff, eric or antonin did in yores, but i can't remember i think, there was one where eric sanwiched his diab in his hollow of the knee...

Tricks / (fast) Infinite Suicide without wrap

I wasn't sure if this deserves its own topic, but I created a new one, otherwise, it could be moved to the infinite suicide thread

I just wanted to know how you get along with the Infinite Suicide without a wrap... My string seems to be too long for that, so I shortened it and will try it tomorrow... Any tips?...Experiences? Priam does it in An Air of Diabology (Right click and save as), if you don't know it yet...

Tricks / 1d Bouncing over arm/btb

I couldn't find a thread, so I opened a new one...

Could someone describe the trick where you're in over leg / behind the back satellite position but let the diab bounce to and fro? I don't get anywhere with it..

What's the trick about it? What's the movement?

Over the leg seems to be possible, but no success with btb...

HELP!

Videos / Explanation or tutorial needed (trapeze instead of wrap)

Hi,

I couldn't find the right thread to put my question in, so I created a new one.

When Antonin, Diabolumberto and others do a left hand Clockwise Genocide (the one that starts without darkside), they catch the diabolo so that they have a sortof trapeze/stopover at the end. When I do this trick, I get always into a direct wrap and the stick is very fast and hard to catch.

What's the trick of the trick? Just to catch it very nearly to the left stick?

And the other one is the sort of chinese suicide of ryo yabe's 2d start. what exactly does he do there?

The booklet of the diabology dvd says that there's a video "...freestyle sets of Saclay with Antonin and Eric..."

Does anybody known where to get from the video?
