A glary taibolo, a white fly, mr.b. xtreme handsticks, 25 metres of orange string, diabology and an arkelino.Yays. Visited Oddballs in London, armed with saved up cash, ironically, from busking with a diabolo.
Yays for Oddballs also.

Tricks / Comprehensive Vertax
« on: August 08, 2009, 05:09:02 PM »
Hey guys, I was wondering is there a comprehensive list of all vertax tricks, or if not, could someone make one. There doesn't seem to be a huge amount of base tricks, excluding variations and whatnot. These are all the tricks I can think of -

Trapezes                                       vertax duicides
Suns (overarm/underarm, etc.)          gunslinger thingy
Vertax suicide
Vertax whip
UFO grind
Vertax Genos
Vertax inf. suicides
Under the legs suns
Open Suns

Can anybody think of any more?

Performing / Re: My Performence: Need some tips
« on: August 08, 2009, 04:43:19 PM »
When you drop the diabolo, make a silly 'exasperated' face, and start rolling your eyes comically. My favorite drop line is - ''my diabolo ran out of battery'' you get laughs, endearment, and the opportunity to salvage some dignity. If you are performing to teenagers / young adults, shot out LOL and start laughing. Pop culture references are your friend :)

Tricks / Re: Continuous Kyocide
« on: July 27, 2009, 11:30:03 AM »
I thought I invented this trick, was ready to post a vid, before I saw this :(, anyway , to do Continuous Kyocide, do the kyocide, catch the string, there will be a wrap on the diabolo, unwrap it with the left stick, and with the string still spinning in your right hand, do another kyocide. Repeat. There you go. Continuous kyocide.Have Fun!!

Gear / Taibolo - Gong Qun Diabolo: Good for vertax?
« on: July 19, 2009, 02:28:19 PM »
I am debating whether to get a Gong Qun Diabolo, and want to know such things as -
-Is it good for vertax?
-Is it good at finger grinds?
-Is it too light?
-How nice do they look when are spinning?(Thinking about a clear one)
-Are they stable at low speeds?
-Last question - Should I invest in a Fly instead?
